Both my husband and I have used Ames Nissan and if we don't have to use them again we would perfeer it that way. Zac Ose represents Lithia Nissan of Ames unlike many people in the Automotive service and Dealership industry. This is my second major repair with Zac and Lithia Nissan of Ames in less than a year. Being out of state, I need to rely on Zac and the Dealership to be honest and thorough with their repairs. I know that the honesty was 100% because the factory ended up getting involved because it turned into a warranty/goodwill assistance repair. Nissan is very thorough and scrutinizes warranty repairs on older vehicles. If it was anything other than spot on, NISSAN would have rejected the claim. Working for a Dealership here in NY, I truly understand the importance of an honest non sugarcoated review. It’s how we earn our living and our reputation. If you’re going to breakdown or be in need of Service within the reaches of Lithia Nissan of Ames, get a hold of Zac. Your experience with be excellent with perfect dealer to customer updates and a willingness of the dealer to lookout for the customer. Extremely fair pricing and high quality workmanship. Sold us a car without a title. Took a month to finally get it. Did provide us with a rental, but didn't have AC and it was 100 degrees. Fritz was an xxx to my daughter and me. I asked for someone else when i came in a second time since we had to do the paperwork twice due to us doing paperwork and then being told there was no title. Ended up with him again. Not quite the jerk he was before since my husband came along, but close. When i asked for the other finance guy i was told that they get a lot of those complaints about Fritz... Finally got the car after a month, the check engine light came on 3 days later. Will never again buy a car from there or recommend them. More
The service was on time, courteous, friendly, and met my satisfaction. I had to travel quite a way to get to this dealership and it was worth it.
