I really had the pleasure of working with Patrick "Randy" Daugherty again. This was the third time that Mr. Patrick Daugherty helped my family in getting a car. Patrick has the professional ability to listen to what the customer wants and what would fit their needs as he has done this with me. With this experience and the last one, I wanted the blue color and the certain features. Patrick helped to find the car I wanted. When I purchased the Nissan Sentra SR through LIthia Nissan of Ames; I wanted the metallic blue color with the navigation system and moonroof with spoiler. This was a combination of the two cars I had before going to one car. Patrick and his sales manager never gave up in finding the car I wanted which was found in Texas. Yes, it was hard to give up the two cars I had but it was feasible to go down to one car. I am still getting use to the Nissan Sentra. The more I drive it the more I like it. I want to thank Patrick Daugherty and Lithia Nissan of Ames for finding me the car. Patrick Daugherty is a very professional, friendly salesperson whom has a very caring personality. So i had been looking for a mazda mpv, for my next vehicle. I am not a minivan kind of girl but this fit the bill for what i needed it for. He knew we were coming from 2 hours away an it had to be perfect. Long story shortened, the mpv had a problem on the way home and starting acting up, I called Randy we got it back to ames and they took care of it 100%. They fixed what needed to be fixed and delivered it to my house 2 hours away!!! They have return customers here! We rate the a 5 because even though we had a bump in the road they made it right! We went to this dealership based on a pre-approval postcard I received in the mail. I was hoping to refinance my old car at a lower rate, but my old car was too old and had too many miles and too muc postcard I received in the mail. The people at this dealership worked with me and I was able to get a new car. Can you believe that? A new car! I have never in my life had a new car! Billie worked very hard for us and respected my wishes of using either my credit union or Nissan for financing. The Finance Manager was great making several calls on our behalf - Thank you Scott and it was great to have the general manager of the dealership take time out of his busy schedule to celebrate my new vehicle with us. We needed a more versatile vehicle and when researching the web, came across a used 2012 jeep at Lithia Nissan of Ames Dealership and liked what we saw. So that Saturday we decided to go and take the vehic the web, came across a used 2012 jeep at Lithia Nissan of Ames Dealership and liked what we saw. So that Saturday we decided to go and take the vehicle for a test drive, we drove it and really liked it. We worked with a gentleman by the name of Lee, he was very friendly and worked very hard for this deal to happen. We did have a trade in vehicle, and I cannot say enough about the trade in package they gave us, it was above and beyond our expectations. Everyone there were very nice and helpful, even when they had to stay after working hours to complete the paperwork. We drove home with that jeep that evening and are very happy with it. Lee and some of the other staff made this happen for us. In my humble opinion, if you are searching for a friendly, and decent place, where they are happy and willing to work with you to get you the vehicle you would like (new or used) I would stop by and speak with Lithia Nissan of Ames.
