Left my oil tank dry because I had a lifetime oil package for too long. They also dented my car and took no responsibility for it. Mocked my complaint and the salesmen like to hike the price up past MSRP. for too long. They also dented my car and took no responsibility for it. Jacob really went out of his way on this one, and saved me about 11k on a busted hybrid battery. It was completely destroyed when I brought it to him. There was no prior warning while I drove the Prius, the car just abruptly disconnected the hybrid battery then stalled. I had it towed to the dealership, and Jacob set to work to track down the problem. The cause was an over tightened bolt which cracked the casing of the hybrid battery. Jacob called around to previous mechanics and found him at a dealership half way across the country, who had done a recall replacement four years ago on a bad fuse. The seriousness of his mistake wasn’t apparent until now, when the battery was completely ruined. A hybrid battery in a Prius isn’t a small thing. 11k to replace. That was half the price I paid for the whole car used. However, because Jacob tracked the cause to a mistake by a Toyota mechanic in San Diego, Toyota agreed to pay for it. I’ve driven it a few days now, and it runs like a new car. I’m eternally grateful for his work. More
