To start I made an appointment online have an email saying it was Thursday April 22 at 3. Get to the dealer and they say I don’t have an appt. I was asking to have the old oil filter saved. Not to make sure it was changed but to cut it open and inspect it for filtered particles. The service associate Joseph Kyttle didn't hesitate what so ever, I handed him a heavy zip-lock bag he said "got you covered". I appreciate not being questioned about this practice. Deanna Jackson helped me identify the appropriate filter before I asked for help she understood what I needed to know and looked it up simply overhearing a conversation with one of the mechanics. I was impressed with her willingness to help! Thank you folks. More
I was very disappointed in my service at Lithia on April 23, 2021. I came in for an oil change for my 2005 Toyota 4Runner, and when it was done, my service rep. came to get me and informed me of several thi 23, 2021. I came in for an oil change for my 2005 Toyota 4Runner, and when it was done, my service rep. came to get me and informed me of several things that needed to be attended to. This is not unusual and usually I will listen and decide what I can afford and/or have time to have done. That was when things changed for the worse. I was told that I had a torn CV boot that needed to be replaced. I also had a license plate light bulb that was burned out. Finally I was asked if I ever had 150,000 mile maintenance done on the vehicle (she couldn't find a record of it being done), I said I didn't know and how much would it cost to have it done. She did some figuring on a calculator and said out would be a little over $1600!! Needless to say I was shocked at that! I told her to do the license plate bulb and have them replace my dome light bulbs at the same time! That was the last time I saw her and waited another hour with no contact. I finally had to hunt someone else down to get my car finished (with no dome light bulbs replaced). I will think twice before I ever return to their service department! More
