I have always received very good treatment from John and trust his honesty. Other maintenance coordinators like Luis Renteria have also impressed me with their understanding of maintenance issues (dead battery). Have had only one not so good experience from another coordinator, but he made up for his previous mistakes (not replacing dead battery immediately) by comping items and services he may or may not have had to. Its also unfortunate that after the fact (purchase May 2016) that we found out the vehicle had been in a wreck as indicated to us by the Lithia Body Shop young appraisal person discovering that the left headlight and full bumper were 'after market' items. I have to ask myself, perhaps the right bumper, which had to be replaced 6 weeks after purchase at Lithia's Body Shop - because of a tow truck mishap (wrong towing device used for taking Prius to service center for a dead battery) - was 'after market" too? Appraiser told me that, "We don't look for those problems unless it comes up". It also would have been nice to know that some cars DO NOT show up on CarMax! If known, we would have not paid the full price ($15k) for which it was sold. Of course, towing, and subsequent fender damage, for the dead battery would not have occurred if the salesman had replaced the missing owners manual immediately. Instead of, after we brought the car back a 2nd time for the dead battery following 1st incident which caused damage (total of 10 hrs. missed recreation and work) and service coordinator (not John or Luis) didn't think it would need the spendy battery to be replaced. Checking for triip readiness I appreciated that I didn't need an appointment, but could bring my 1999 Tacoma in about 1000.
