Update: My post was flagged. I did call the dealership and was passed around. I was told the manager was busy and they couldn’t look up my information. I guess I’ll figure this o I did call the dealership and was passed around. I was told the manager was busy and they couldn’t look up my information. I guess I’ll figure this out on my own. Help and advice please. Wasn’t sure where to go. I’m upside down and struggling to make my payments. I talked with my bank that I have a loan with to see about refinancing but they told me that I didn’t make enough money anymore. I’m not sure how I can get a loan in the first place if that was the case. They mentioned something about rental income. Which I was very confused about. We don’t have a house and my husband helps with paying our rent. I did notice that on my credit application when I was buying my car. When I asked Michael at Toyota about it at the time, he said that’s how his boss (I think Chris) wanted it on application. First time buying a car so I didn’t think much of it. Im thinking I should have asked more questions. It didn’t seem right at the time but I needed a car. Where should I go from here? Should I reach out to another dealership or just let them take my car if I can’t make the payments anymore? I can’t afford it but I can’t afford not having a car either. More
