Mr. Lorditch, I sincerely apologize for your feelings, and our inability to meet your expectations on your recent service visit to Lokey Kia. As I had expressed to you previously, Kia Motors requires dealerships to perform warranty repairs under strict guidelines. As such, once a diagnosis is performed on a vehicle, a determination is made as to how the repairs are to be completed. As you were advised, both over the phone and in person, due to the nature of the component failure, and the fact that the seal replacement correctly repaired your vehicle, Kia Motors does not allow for a complete steering rack assembly to be installed. Kia Motors provides a warranty policy and procedure manual which outlines the protocal that dealers must follow when repairing vehicles under warranty. I believe that this was reiterated to you by the customer service agent at Kia Motors when you called to file a complaint about your visit. I am truly sorry that you feel that we failed to meet your expectations, however we did repair your vehicle, and operated within the guidelines and limitations as outlined for us by Kia Motors. Your vehicle is operating as it should, and is expected to provide you many more years and miles of driving pleasure.
