Servicing my M5 I brought my M5 in for service to Long Beach BMW (where I purchased my car). As usual the service advisory staff is a crack bunch, my advisor Miguel Rivera is a great guy & I can trust his counsel. This is my favorite BMW dealership & has remained so since my initial contact over a decade ago. The work is always superb... I have only one complaint; BMW has hiked service prices into the stratosphere -- the last time I was in for service I received a quote in the low $300's for a spark plug replacement and that price was up over $600 upon my latest visit (in less than a year). Spark plugs have remained the same price for many many years & inflation accounts for only a small percent of that increase. To be clear, this is a BMW brand issue, not a Long Beach BMW problem... Best Service Advisor! Check engine light went on Monday morning and was able to get an appointment at 3pm that afternoon. Dropped my care off at noon and the advisor seeme Check engine light went on Monday morning and was able to get an appointment at 3pm that afternoon. Dropped my care off at noon and the advisor seemed to think it was just a sensor. He was correct and had my car serviced and ready to be picked up by 3:30 the same afternoon. Horrible Experience I started leasing my I3 in november 2015. i just found out that the dealership was suppose to give me a chargenow card so i can take advantage of free I started leasing my I3 in november 2015. i just found out that the dealership was suppose to give me a chargenow card so i can take advantage of free charging. i had no idea about this program and the sales person never told me about the program. once i found out about the program i had to get the card from the dealership. the salesperso, ben, lied to be for weeks about how he would overnite the card to me. lie and after lie i finally received the card. very disappointing that the company never took responsibility for the error. they did not understand that was money i was losing by not using this program especially with a charge station blocks from my work. these sales people had no idea about the program and how it worked or what was the benefit. i would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
