Long Hyundai

Usually when you think of a Super Hero , you imagine a Marvel-esk caped Avenger with Black boots, golden armor, bulging muscles and if you lean Nordic; long wavy blond hair, a Hammer made f , you imagine a Marvel-esk caped Avenger with Black boots, golden armor, bulging muscles and if you lean Nordic; long wavy blond hair, a Hammer made for King Odin, but I digress, so back to the beginning. My much better half, Charlotte (GF), was recently run off the road by a knuckle dragging Neolithic cave dweller who struck her car and sent her into a guard rail at 60 MPH totaling her recently purchased car. It then took her insurance company 4 weeks to let her know the car was not being repaired and was in fact totaled. So by the time she was notified she had consumed all of her rental car coverage and was now paying $30 a day to drive a rental, money she did not have to waste. We drove into Long Hyundai of Chattanooga franticly looking for a used vehicle trying keep the cost to what she was paying for the previous car, so what out of the clear blue sky we were witness to the slow decent of what appeared to be a sharp dressed man and I could swear I heard the familiar harmonic symphony of Ride of the Valkyries and yes I lean Nordic. Our personal Super Hero was named Ardis Toney, and he politely asked what we were looking for and we responded a used car a few years old so we do not take a big financial hit when we drive it off the lot. He smiled and nodded his head in understanding how many people feel when they know just driving a new car off the lot can cost them several though and in depreciation. He asked us if we would be interested in buying a new car if it would cost us less then a used car? Still a bit in shock over how he just dropped in out of the sky, we muttered “Well yes”. Ardis then asked what we wanted in a vehicle and quickly found a blue car that had everything we asked for but was much higher in cost then Charlotte could afford. He spoke with his manager who is sitting in the middle of the showroom, a pleasant change from the “gopher games” other companies play by hiding the decision maker where you cannot see of interact with them. His manager asked Charlotte “What do you want to pay for this car”? Charlotte gave him a price that was $6,000 lower than the price listed. I had to bite my tongue not to laugh out loud when she said it, seriously I had not idea she was that tough. The manager had written the car cost on a piece of paper, he now handed it to Charlotte and she opened it and read what he wrote, the first 2 numbers were exactly what she had asked to pay, so she now has a new Hyundai thanks the the Super Hero Ardis Toney whose Superpower clearly is giving car buyers a great deal on new Hyundais! Our service experience was so pleasurable that I was enticed to purchase one of the White Sante Fe Demo vehicles which was much lower in cost and an outstanding value but lacking 2 requirements for my next vehicle 4WD and Blind Spot / Lane Change Warning sensors. I will however make certain I check with Ardis before I purchase any new vehicle as this was the best car buying experience I have ever been a part of.
