Went in on 4-20-26 for scheduled appointment for PREPAID maintenance on our Lexus 2021 RX 450 hybrid suv. While checking in the vehicle, the service advisor recommended spark plug replacement service and t maintenance on our Lexus 2021 RX 450 hybrid suv. While checking in the vehicle, the service advisor recommended spark plug replacement service and told my husband it is needed at 60,000 miles, we had slightly over 59,000 miles on the odometer. My husband was quoted $1,000 and returned to me in the waiting lounge area and repeated what the advisor told him. We discussed it and decided to might as well have it done since we were already there and needed it done. I went back to the advisor and ok’d the spark replacement to be done. However, I was told it would be $1,500, not $1,000. Is the $1,500 a female price vs the $1,000 a male price? After the AAA discount, labor was over $1,000 and spark plug parts $400. Perhaps labor hours were added onto our PREPAID maintenance service. Whatever, we feel totally scammed for a spark plugs replacement service we were told we needed at 60,000 miles. We do not feel that is accurate, we bought our vehicle new and had no issues. After googling and reading the spark plugs on our suv shouldn’t need replacing until 100,000-120,000 miles, we feel totally scammed. We’ve been customers at this dealership for over 25 years, always buying our new Lexus vehicles from them and recommending them to family and friends. After this poor experience we feel taken advantage of. As older customers in our 70’s, being scammed/misinformed by a business we trusted for so many years is quite disappointing. More
I had Both Lexuses serviced on April 14, 2026. I was disappointed with the service. I have been getting a sign on my Lexus about the low battery on my one of the Lexuses key. When I received a cal I was disappointed with the service. I have been getting a sign on my Lexus about the low battery on my one of the Lexuses key. When I received a call from Lexus confirming my appointment for the next day, I told her about this. She told me that we will take care of it and replace the battery. However, when the technicians came, they told me that they were not told about the battery replacement. She told them on the phone that she did not state about the battery replacement. When both technicians left after completing the service, they left both cars unlocked on the street and my ES-300h door was not even closed. In our neighborhood, there have been thefts occurring regularly, particularly if the doors are unlocked. Jay Sheth More
