Highly Disappointed Would give zero stars if I could. I can’t speak for the sales floor as I’ve never purchased a car from this location. This review is in regards to the Would give zero stars if I could. I can’t speak for the sales floor as I’ve never purchased a car from this location. This review is in regards to the service department. I’ve had the worst experience ever dealing with their service department. The first time I ever brought my car in for service I was having a routine oil change done on the vehicle, however I had also put in the comments section when I made the appointment online asking them to look over my radio as I was having issues with the navigation going out and the entire radio crashing when I use navigation. I had made a Saturday appointment because with my work schedule at the time Saturdays worked best for me. When the service attendant was reviewing the reason for my visit at check in she didn’t mention about them looking at the radio so I kindly asked her to make sure they did that as well. She told me she could mention it to the service guy, but the “head technician” is not in on Saturdays so there is not much she could do. She then told me that my visit “didn’t specify” that I needed work done to the vehicle other than routine maintenance and that I should have made an appointment during the week for something like that. I mentioned my service note in the comments section that I made when I had made the appointment and she just repeated herself stating that I should have made an appointment during the week for something like that then. When I got the car back it was noted in the service order that radio was looked at and “functioning normally- no problems found”. Unfortunately this Chevy dealership is the only one in the area for me otherwise I would have never went back. At the end of November I brought the car in due to a check engine light and several codes read off the vehicle. I was told the turbo in my vehicle had to be replaced amongst other things. I had them repair what needed to be repaired for just over $2,000. I also mentioned the radio issues I was having again because at this point the radio was also crashing when I used hands-free for phone calls. Again, I was told they looked at the radio and they found nothing wrong with it. This past Friday, March 22nd, I brought the car in for a scheduled appointment for electrical issues-specifically relating to the radio. At this point the radio was crashing at random and would crash even when I’d first start the car and sometimes it would come on, other times it wouldn’t. After the service department had my car all day I received a call that the radio needs to be replaced, but there are other issues with the car as well. Several of those issues had to do with leaking coolant lines off the turbo and exhaust manifold gaskets needing to be replaced. They quoted me over $6,000 worth of work. I picked up the car and said I would be in touch. After doing some research and taking a look at the car myself, I discovered that the turbo coolant lines were in fact leaking. However, I also found out that these lines would of had to be removed with the replacement of the turbo. Not only that, but the exhaust manifold also has to be removed when replacing the turbo. When I called the dealership to speak to someone about this they denied it. They wouldn’t even offer to take a look at the car to see what they could do. They told me they don’t remove lines when replacing a turbo that they only loosen them so they couldn’t have caused the line to leak.... I’m scratching my head on that one. Further, they had no comment in regards to the manifold other than the work they performed wouldn’t have caused the issues currently present with the vehicle. I beg to differ as it is even in the Haynes manual that the exhaust manifold and coolant lines would have to be removed. Even if they did not remove the lines and only loosened them (as they stated that’s all they do) the manual states that the lines have sealing washers that should be replaced when replacing the turbo. Further, I looked up the prices of the parts and compared the prices they quoted me and they are charging 2-3x the cost of the part. I understand it’s normal to up charge the price on parts, but by 2-3x the sales price? I’m very dissatisfied with the service department and will never return for service or to even purchase a new vehicle. More

Randy is the definition of excellence (Service department) I called the service department about a check engine light that came on my Traverse on a Monday and Randy Wallace squeezed in an appointment for me as I called the service department about a check engine light that came on my Traverse on a Monday and Randy Wallace squeezed in an appointment for me asap despite the fact that their service department is always busy. He promptly notified me of what was wrong with my vehicle and to my benefit he informed me that it was covered under my powertrain warranty, he kept me up to speed everyday and even sent me pictures of the work being performed on my vehicle and on top of that they ended up replacing other items under warranty that they noticed were also wrong with the Traverse, it all came to be about $3k worth of work done to it and it cost me $0, not only that but he also provided my family and a loaner, a 2018 Malibu which we also fell in love with and will probably be purchasing one in a couple of months. Thank you Randy for being the definition of excellence when it comes to customer service! More
