I called with issue, told to come right in as it may be a safety problem. I Appreciated it. Also needed inspection but service did not have time in that day to repair issues, so I asked for appt next Saturda safety problem. I Appreciated it. Also needed inspection but service did not have time in that day to repair issues, so I asked for appt next Saturday same time, I called Saturday morning because I had a feeling I didn't have an appt and I didn't want to waste my time or my daughters by arranging transportation to and from shop, so I called and was told by two people that I DID NOT HAVE an appointment. The second service tech said to bring it in it will be taken care of. When I got there, Zak said my appointment specified the passenger side rear tail light needed replacement, not the driver side rear tail light, so the light will need to be ordered and can't be done today. Appointment? I thought I didn't have an appointment? AND, I failed safety for the driver side tail light so....why not order the correct one initially if I asked to be scheduled the following weekend for the issue. Obviously I am annoyed that it was failed for a crack that is failed on opinion, as Its been cracked for two years and shows no evidence of moisture.....but then to have all the inconvenience of having to come on two separate occasions to replace tires because of a lump in it, that I happened to mention when I purchased them from your dealership and was told it was a manufacture defect but "its fine, it won't be an issue because it on the side", yet it failed safety for that reason. And then....the inconsistent reports of appointment??? I left a message on service manager phone, Andy Stone, but never heard from him. Letting him know that this is the second time I have felt a lack of confidence in the service department due to Zak, the first time he didn't tell me about an additional charges of about $200 when I purchase the tires and now the phantom appointment with the wrong tail light. My thing is, mistakes happen, own them,apologize and move on. It appeared as an unnecessary lie. He wasn't even the service tech I dealt with the weekend before, so it was in no way his mistake to cover up, but to just lie has me looking side ways at this guy. More
