I would give zero stars but it wouldn’t let me. I bought a 2013 Ford Escape for $15,000 on 3/3/2022. Had 91k miles on it was in excellent condition. They offered me an extended warranty for an exo I bought a 2013 Ford Escape for $15,000 on 3/3/2022. Had 91k miles on it was in excellent condition. They offered me an extended warranty for an exorbitant amount which I turned down. Two weeks after I bought it I took a vacation to DC to see the cherry blossom blooms at their peek. Never made it! The car broke down in Frederick MD. I had it towed by AAA to a AAA service center and they found that a misfire had occurred in cylinder number 3. When they removed the spark plug it had come apart and damaged the engine. The plug was a Ford Motor Craft plug probably the original plugs since they are supposed to last 100k miles. The dealers took this car in trade and never bothered to look at or replace these plugs even though they new the plugs probably should be changed. In all my years (50 odd years) of car ownership I have never heard of a plug falling apart inside of a engine like this before. I found after the fact that Ford has had problems with this engine (1.6 turbo and the 2.0) but the recall is only on the 2.0! I’ve called the main Ford headquarters 3 times and it’s been at least a week and a half and no one has returned any of my calls yet! I’m retired and live on a fixed income and bought this car because I trusted Ford to build a good reliable car that they would back. I did nothing wrong other than buy this nice used car and drive it for two weeks! You pay $15,000 for a used car it should last longer than two weeks. I will never buy another Ford and make sure I tell everyone I know that Ford and Loudon Motors does not stand behind their vehicles! When I contacted the dealer after it broke dow they told me there was nothing they could do for me other than tow it there and they could give me an estimate to fix it! To have it towed there would have cost me $1300! I borrowed a truck and rented a car hauler to go down in bring it back. That has cost me in the rental and gas about $400. So now the car is sitting at home waiting to hear back from Ford Motors and also the Ohio Consumers and Attorney general’s office to see who can help me! More

(i already did everything online for them just had to sign papers) sales person was shady. i live out of state. they sent me the me the memorandum title and no check to cover the reg, plates or taxes. after a conversation they final agreed to send a check. it was only for the taxes because the paperwork specifically said sales taxes. called them today and they said they don't pay for plates and registration and the guy hung up on me. I currently have 3 other vehicles bought from Ohio and all have paid for the plate and registration. they collected a 250 document fee which every other dealership the document fee is for the plate and registration. JUST BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM THIS SHADY PLACE More

Purchased a used car "as is" of course, but also purchased a service contract. Took car in for a repair and claim was denied. After several attempts to find out why, they finally told me me "Since w purchased a service contract. Took car in for a repair and claim was denied. After several attempts to find out why, they finally told me me "Since we knew the car was making a noise from the rear differential before selling it to you, it is considered a pre existing condition and is not covered. " So basically, they sold me a car with a known issue,(which is also a safety concern) sold me a service contract that they knew would not cover said issue. And smiled as I walked away. I had no idea at the time that I was doing the walk of shame. I am currently speaking with a lawyer about the arbitration process and to see if I stand a chance. I'm guessing no because legally they have themselves covered pretty well (almost as if they have experience in this type of thing) but if there was a court based on ethics, I would absolutely win. A previous response from them basically stating "We will try not to screw over anyone else in the future" does me no good. Here is the actual response-Dealer response Customer service is one of our top priorities, so we are disappointed to hear we failed to give you with the quality experience you deserve. Please know that we take all of our customer reviews, both good and bad, very seriously in an effort to improve our products and services. After speaking with you in detail yesterday and better understanding your concerns, our General Manager is already putting procedures in place to prevent this from happening to future customers. Thank you again for your feedback. They did however " try to make it right " by offering to pay for half of the repair. So rather than pay the 100 dollar deductible, I would be responsible for 16 times that amount at 1600 dollars(keeping in mind I already paid 3126 dollars for the service contract) How considerate of them. That should make everything ok, right? I am 45 years old and have never been done like this. Never had such anger, regret, distrust, and down right disappointment in anyone or anything. More

Amazing service department and crew! Had my vehicle at 3 other shops for a noise in the front end and they figured it out in less than 15 mins and saved me a ton of money!
