My experience consisted of two trips to Lugoff Ford, both were frustrating to say the least. My first trip was to purchase my vehicle. Upon arriving I walked the lot for approximately 10 minutes and was neve were frustrating to say the least. My first trip was to purchase my vehicle. Upon arriving I walked the lot for approximately 10 minutes and was never offered help until finally as I was leaving I was approached by a salesperson, who seemed less than enthusiastic about helping me. I should have left then, however I was quite serious about making a purchase and stuck around for a test drive and found a vehicle I liked. Naturally the back and forth over numbers ensued and quite honestly I should have left again at this point. Not sure why I endured all the waiting around for the 'manager' to come back with all sorts of figures. They begin by showing you some inflated price and interest rate, then run the credit check, then show you what seems to be a better payment, yet with the same price and then back again with a slightly lower price which is only them removing the crazy fees they attach to the sticker. $399 for a 'painted' pinstripe that's actually tape? Come on. How about just showing people the best deal you can give them and let them decide if it's a good deal? Long story still pretty long, I bought the car (which I really like.) However there was more waiting in between for the 'manager' to drive to another dealership to print the paperwork, which also contained a couple of type-o's and was then rather hastily 'gone over' with me. The detail shop was backed up (also could easily overhear the sales staff making derogatory comments about the lack of quality help in the detail dept. that day) so I decided I would bring the car back another day to get a detail done. Upon my return trip about two weeks later, I entered the showroom to find five or six staff members huddled around the front desk. NOT A SINGLE ONE LOOKED AT OR ACKNOWLEDGED ME. I literally had to stand right next to them and do a little throat clear/cough gesture to get what was a less than inviting offer of assistance. The 'manager' was sitting in the middle of the group, but did not even bother to acknowledge the fact that I had just purchased a vehicle from his establishment or that I even existed. I requested my complementary detail and to have the front license plate holder removed. The car was taken back to detail (mediocre detail job at best) and after a while someone returned my keys and said "you're ready to go." I walk to the car, license plate holder still there. I mention this and after a walk to the service dept. to explain that yes I do in fact want that ugly, usesless (in sc) piece of plastic you folks put on the car removed and a short wait, I was finally all done, for good, with Lugoff Ford. Side note: the showroom is pretty plain and dated. As well, customers can clearly see into the surrounding offices, which appear rather cluttered with boxes, etc. The customer Wi-Fi was not functioning on either trip to the dealership. I traveled to Lugoff thinking people were nicer and cars were cheaper in the 'country.' Lesson learned, scam artists and the incompetent are everywhere. Avoid Lugoff Ford. More

Nik did not make us feel pressured to purchase my new Ford Mustang. The sales manager was also very accommodating. this was the 2nd vehicle that I purchased from Lugoff Ford. My husband has also purchased 2 vehicles from them. they worked with us and we have been satisified with them.. I am a returning customer for Lugoff-Ford. When I entered the parking lot to look at the nice vehicles, I went with intentions of wanting a vehicle that was roomy for my family, something with all the "bells the parking lot to look at the nice vehicles, I went with intentions of wanting a vehicle that was roomy for my family, something with all the "bells and whistles", a vehicle I would love, but most importantly a gas SAVER. I spoke with Ryan Ashley and he was probably the best salesman I have ever dealt with! He listened to my every need, want, but he also treated me with the upmost respect. Ryan, along with the Lugoff-Ford staff, was able to get me into a 2010 Ford Escape Limited Edition!! On a scale of 1-10, I definitely give Ryan Ashley an 11! He is an EXCELLENT salesman and i would highly recommend him to anyone! Thanks again Ryan for everything! I will be doing business again with you.......... but later :) More
I had issues with my current vehicle and was not able to make it out to the dealership which was approximately 40 miles away. They did everything over the phone to help me find what I wanted and on top of t make it out to the dealership which was approximately 40 miles away. Nik and all the other associates were very friendly when we arrived to the dealership. We told Nik exactly what we wanted and he went right to work on finding us the vehicle we needed to be where we wanted we arrived to the dealership. While he was going through inventory Heather came over and introduced herself to us and told us what they were doing and said that if we had any questions to let her know. Well, they did a great job they pulled up a truck and we knew it was for us we did the test drive and bam we started the paperwork and Heather and Nik got us to where we wanted to be payment wise. Then we met Billy who worked with us on information to which he was very informative and got us set up on a good service plan that did not make our payment sky rocket... They kept working even after we left the dealership and really made this a great deal each and everyone of them went above and beyond their duties to make this an amazing experience. We really appreciate all they have done we will most definitely be purchasing our next car from them!!!! More
Oh a whim I decided I needed a new car in the color I had originally wanted. I found the exact car I wanted at Lugoff Ford. I used this website to find the salesman with the most positive reviews. In seeing Nick Laney was around the same age I was and with positive buyer reviews, I called the dealership on a Saturday morning inquiring about the car. The sales manager, Alan, answered and let me know the car was still there. I had a few errands to run and called again to make sure everything was still a go. Nick got on the phone and was even nice enough to tell me the best way to get there from Charlotte (1.5 hour drive). I had hoped to get there about 2 but did not get there until almost 5. Nick, Alan, and other employees stayed almost 2 hours past the dealership closing time and I walked out with my brand new Mustang. Nick was personable, kind, and great to work with. Alan and Heather were very generous and worked with me down to a number I felt comfortable with. While "the dealership haggle" can be very annoying and stressful, this was not the case with the staff at Lugoff. We were all honest with each other and worked together to get everyone happy and to make a sale. They were all great people to work with. I typically buy a car every 2 - 3 years and am not afraid to walk out of a dealership for any reason. I've had many experiences with all types of dealers and the staff at Lugoff has left me with a great impression. They were awesome to deal with and to even chat with. Everyone was warm, inviting, and made the 4 hours we spent together fly by. Thanks again guys! More

I will defiantly be referring friends to Lugoff Ford, everyone there was amazingly friendly and knew what they were talking about, i was in and out faster than i have ever been at a dealership. I bought a 2013 Ford Focus and my sister bought a 2012 Dodge Ram Hemi and we are both very pleased. Thank you Lugoff Ford, it was a pleasure. P.S. Yes, Nik Laney deserves a raise.
