Initially I was happy to find Lupient Chevrolet has an express lane. However, I was disappointed that I had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to get me checked in. The check in area had one othe express lane. However, I was disappointed that I had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to get me checked in. The check in area had one other vehicle besides mine so it wasn’t like there was a backup of vehicles waiting to check in ahead of me. I’m guessing Tyler was at lunch and when he got to his work station he got me checked in quickly. Tyler was helpful and friendly on check in and check out, no issues with Tyler. When I called before driving over, I was told an oil change would be about an hour so expectations were set. The actual time to do the oil change and tire rotation was about two hours. I should have asked at check in but since I inquired when I called I didn’t think I needed to ask again. What really disappointed me waiting that long was the lack of a decent waiting area. The area near the service check in was small and uncomfortable and had no outlet to plug in charging for phone or laptop. I did find a sitting area in the showroom space which had outlets and USB charging. However the seating was not comfortable, the padded chairs are wore out and the area and chairs themselves were filthy dirty. I seriously doubt I’ll be back to Lupient Chevrolet in the future, I’ll simply make an appointment in advance at Walser GMC as they do not have an Express Lane but they do have a very well kept and modern waiting area, provide updates of vehicle status as I wait and provide a high level of confidence in the quality of their work I can’t help but think if the dealership is cutting corners on customer satisfaction, will the service on my $80K vehicle meet a high level of quality service. I brought the car in 4 times for the same issue and they did not believe anything was wrong until I included a note from our Costco tire change saying it was really bad. did not believe anything was wrong until I included a note from our Costco tire change saying it was really bad. More

I had a terrible experience here at Lupient Chevrolet. Avoid avoid avoid! I needed a new key fob for my Cruze. I was able to order one through OnStar and get it from Lupient Chevrolet. I ordered it Sunday Avoid avoid avoid! I needed a new key fob for my Cruze. I was able to order one through OnStar and get it from Lupient Chevrolet. I ordered it Sunday evening and I received an email early on Monday morning from Rick Stewart, the parts manager in the Lupient Chevrolet parts department telling me that my order was ready. I then called Mr. Stewart and asked about getting the key fob programmed to my car. He told me that it could be programmed when I picked it up with a charge, which I expected. He said that I could stop by anytime and told me that I wouldn't need an appointment. I went to pick up the key fob and have it programmed the same day, yesterday afternoon. I pulled into the service center. I met Dana in Service. I told him that I was there to pick up a key fob and have it programmed to my car. He told me that I could go get the key fob from the parts department. I got it and brought it to Dana. He acted annoyed, like I was inconveniencing him. He said he'd try to find someone to program it... guilt tripping me. He said it would be about a half hour wait. I was going to go wait in the lounge before he asked if I'd ever been there before. No. So he'd have to put me in their system and he took my driver's license before saying it was going to add 15 minutes. Again saying it even more annoyingly. I finally go to the lounge and wait almost an hour before Dana comes to the lounge and tells me that they can't get it done. They've been trying and trying. Apparently Chevrolet's computer system is down everywhere, nationwide. He told me to come back the next day (today). He pointed to the parking lot and told me that my car was there. I went out there and didn't see it. I had to go get him and he came out to the parking to help me look for my car. He couldn't find it either. We finally found it, but not anywhere obvious. Also, the dealership sent me a text shortly after I got to the lounge with a link to keep track of my service. Well that only gave me an error. Worthless. I called before going back today. I wanted to make sure that Chevrolet's computer system was working. No one answered and I was sent to voicemail. I left a message expecting a call back. Then I received a text from Lupient Chevrolet: "This is Lupient Chevrolet. Did you have a question or need something? You can text us at this number." I waited for 40 minutes without a call back. I had replied to the text with no reply back. I called again and no one answered. I decided to just go there. It's about a half an hour drive for me. I got there and Dana acted surprised to see me. I asked if the computers were working today and said that they were. I gave him the key fobs and he begrudgingly told me he'd try to find someone to program the new key fob. The new key fob costs $200 alone by the way. Plus this programming. After another hour in the lounge Dana came to tell me that it was done. While I was waiting I was worrying about what the cost would be. I had called Mauer Chevrolet that is in Inver Grove Heights Minnesota and asked their service department how much they charge for my car and they told me $110. A little more than I expected. I go to the service counter with Dana and he presents me with a bill for $150. I told him that Mauer Chevrolet does it for $110 and I asked if they price match. He said no and asked me who told me that they charge that lower price. $40 lower. I said "they did. I just called them." He told me that they must have lower hourly rates for service and Lupient Chevrolet's hourly charge is $220. They must charge less and he can't help it. That's an excuse pulled out of thin air. Ridiculous. Mauer stated that it's a flat fee. I talked to Dana with this excuse. $40 is a lot of money. That's a big difference. Lupient Chevrolet charges 27% more for labor than Mauer Chevrolet I'm told. I explain that my time is valuable too. Having to wait the day before and go back today with a More
