My mother's first buying experience. After a day of searching for my mother's first car purchase of her own we ended up at Lupient and thank goodness we did. Perry Smulders is "The Man"! After a day of searching for my mother's first car purchase of her own we ended up at Lupient and thank goodness we did. Perry Smulders is "The Man"! Very friendly, very honest, great sense of humor, and a true pleasure to do business with. I love the fact that they don't pressure wash under the hood and they don't try to cover up any faults with the vehicles. I've been a mechanic on the side for twenty plus years and when I see an engine that's been washed and Armour All'd I get very nervous wondering what they are hiding. Not these guys! You know exactly what you're getting. Joshua Engelby handled our paperwork and was great to deal with as well. Overall their prices were more than fair, we were very happy with the Equinox we purchased, and I don't think you'll find a more pleasant, honest, and fun group to purchase a vehicle from. I'll be buying more vehicles in the future and I will go to Lupient Kia in Brooklyn Park first.
