Oil Change and MORE! Oil change was fine. I asked them to review the brakes because of a pulsating feeling when I was braking. It is an issued I had at about 22,000 mile Oil change was fine. I asked them to review the brakes because of a pulsating feeling when I was braking. It is an issued I had at about 22,000 miles. At that time, you resurfaced the rotors. That helped until about 36,000 miles and then the pulsating started to happen again. Finally, it got to the point just before 50,000 miles that it was very annoying. After they checked it out, they said that the rotors were warped and that I should have them resurfaced again for about $280. I said that last time they were resurfaced that it only helped for about 14,000 miles and then it was bad again. I asked for other options. At this point it seemed that they tech was getting annoyed with me. I asked how much it would be to replace the rotors, he and the point of contact person said about $480. I asked how much it would be to replace both the brakes and rotors, they said $580. The tech said that my brake pad still had "a lot of meat still on the bone", but I was questioning why I would only resurface the rotors now, especially if that wasn't going to be a cure that lasted a long time, and then pay to get new brakes and or rotors in the sometime near future with by van being at 50,000 miles. I decided to get the pads and rotors replaced for the $580, which I thought made the most sense, even to the dismay of the tech. Then, when the job was completed and I was paying my bill, which now included oil change, new brakes and rotors for the front wheels, power steering flush, and a brake fluid flush..... I then notice that the engine and cabin air filters had been marked "red" on my paper work. I asked my point of service person if that meant they should be changed (which I knew it did, but was surprised no one brought that up to me), they said, "oh yeah, that should be done sometime". I asked how much, they replied $150, I said thanks, but no thanks. I was still miffed on why they wouldn't have asked me about that earlier, before the car was done and waiting for me to leave. I also feel that Ashley could sense my frustration with the tech that day (who was also frustrated with me for not just taking his first option) for wanting more clarification and options when it came to by brakes and tried to almost "mediate" the situation. I felt rushed about making decisions, that I was in some way "hindering" their flow of the day because of the questions I asked and the options I wanted to be presented with. Needless to say I left the day frustrated, which is not how you want to feel when you spend close to $800 to get some maintenance done on you valued vehicle. Gerry Rehder More

Worst experience I have had with Luther dealerships.
