Mixed thoughts... I had a scheduled oil change at 9:30. I arrived at 9:15. I was told when I made the appt my first would be free. When I arrived they said it wasn’t. The manager also said I don’t see any notes, which made me feel like I was a liar. I told them that I was told it was and for the next almost hour they called around to see who told me that. I called the call center back to which they found the recording of the gentleman telling me it was free. All while this was going on they never started my oil change. I was there for 2 hours and 15 minutes. It was very disappointing that I had to spend so much time defending what the guy told me and then to be there for over two hours for something that was supposed to take an hour. At some point during this it should be about taking care of the customer. I bought a brand new car... I guess that doesn’t mean anything. More

Emissions warranty work I brought my 2013 Jetta tdi in because of a check engine light that I knew was related to the dpf and egr system. They offered me a free loaner vehicl I brought my 2013 Jetta tdi in because of a check engine light that I knew was related to the dpf and egr system. They offered me a free loaner vehicle while they looked into it. A few hours after I left the dealership they called and said it was in fact the dpf system that needed to be replaced. I asked them to do a few other maintenance items and they were happy to oblige. They told me it would be done 4 days later and it was. They called me around noon and I wasn't able to pick my car up until the next day. When I arrived they had my car washed, cleaned up and all maintenance and warranty work was done and they walked me through it all. It was a great experience and I will definitely be back. More

Problem with a new car Found a new car I wanted for a great price @ Luther Brookdale VW. Car was on the lot for a long while ( like 9 months ) was told if tires needed re Found a new car I wanted for a great price @ Luther Brookdale VW. Car was on the lot for a long while ( like 9 months ) was told if tires needed replacing they'd get replaced. Later told tires didn't need replacing. Bought car. Regularly noticed car vibrated going 50+ mph, contacted and explained to salesperson the issue ( she new it would could have been an issue before sale ), told us to come in. Before coming in to have the car looked at went into Discount Tire and asked if they could put the tires on a wheel balancer and give opinion. Yep, tire out of round! Should have been replaced before we bought the car. Told salesperson when we came in that regardless of what a tech says that the tire is "out of round", she dismissed everything I said as soon as I said it, and told me that it is up to the tech to decide. After explaining that the car tires were an issue, and that I even had it verified at another tire shop what I knew was a problem was a problem. She was SO QUICK to dismiss what I said and explain I had NO SAY in this if the tech decided the tires were okay. I want to buy another VW, a VW that MSRPs for about $35K, I won't be buying it from her, and really her attitude to my concerns after clearly knowing this tire issue was a very real possibility of being an issue before we even closed the sale. It was a slap in the face. She also knew we wanted to buy another VW. Anyway..... Almost the moment we got to talk to Scott Smith he made it clear he understood what was wrong, that he was going to make sure we got the issue taken care of, and he listened to what I said, and even though I was previously really worked up before I even got to talk to him about it, he was so quick to understand and make it clear he'd help us, that it took me a moment to realize he wasn't giving me B.S. response, but was immediately on my side cause he listened to me and "got it". WOW. Scott Smith is exactly the kind of guy you want to deal with if there is a problem. I even asked him if he sell cars, to see if I could buy another VW from him. More
