Having issues 9 hours from home Our Duramax pickup was giving me the mileage count down to reduced speed and from reading the owners manual I came to the realization that it was fina Our Duramax pickup was giving me the mileage count down to reduced speed and from reading the owners manual I came to the realization that it was finally going to end up at 5mph maximum if I kept on driving. I stopped in and the service department scanned the truck and warned me it might be a long repair depending what it needed. The message went away as I drove a little farther but came on again after a few miles. I went back to the service department and they told me they would take a closer look at it. They got the truck in and discovered the intake pipe had been improperly installed at the factory. Within an hour we were back on the road and the truck had never run better. Great help from these guys. Five stars all of the way!!!!! More

Disappointed that Chev cannot resolve the shifting issue on the 8 speed transmission which shift hard from 1st to 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd. They did show me a write up on the shifting issues.
