Charged for x1.5 for one service diagnostic I brought my car in for servicing on April 22nd, 2020 (Order #420197) and stated the radiator fan and A/C compressor was not working. After an inspect I brought my car in for servicing on April 22nd, 2020 (Order #420197) and stated the radiator fan and A/C compressor was not working. After an inspection it was found (among other things) the "cooling fan failed internally". I declined to have the work done (quoted approximately $696) and changed the part myself. After replacing the old radiator fan, I tested the old one and found that it did in fact, work. I brought the car back to the dealership with a list of replacements made and indicated the new radiator fan was not working, and the A/C was still not working (Order #111482). After a closer inspection it was found the A/C was still not working. After inspection it was found the compressor clutch was not working. The service department quoted me an inspection cost of approximately $120. I asked why the compressor clutch was not looked at or mentioned in the previous inspection, where I indicated the compressor was not working, to which I was told "they are technically two different issues" which was not indicated in the first inspection (Order #420197). I was disappointed they only agreed to reduce the price by half, seeing as in the initial inspection I indicated the A/C compressor was not working. More
