Poor Customer Service I was having problems with my Kia so I called to set up service, I brought it in for service on a Thursday. The Saturday before bringing it in for se I was having problems with my Kia so I called to set up service, I brought it in for service on a Thursday. The Saturday before bringing it in for service (5 days) the engine light came on, prior to that Saturday neither of the check engine or check oil lights EVER came on. I was told that I needed to have my engine replaced due to lack of service and sludge on the engine. Regardless of the fact that I have to pay for the service when I asked why a check engine or check oil light didn't come on I was told that the lights only come on for "dire situations". I would probably categorize having to replace an engine on a 2015 car for $7000+ a "dire situation". If I have to pay for service what does Kia have to be responsible for? If the lights that are there to warn you don't come on, who answers to faulty equipment, wiring or whatever you want to call it? I guess by prefacing it with "it's not dire" makes it ok. I will never drive another Kia again and I will never recommend Kia to anyone. In a world where there's so much competition for our business, signature service is a must and I definitely don't feel as though my best interest was taken into consideration. Very disappointing. Adam worked on my car, he was great, but the end result was out of his hands. More
