I went to Luxury Auto Selection to test drive a vehicle.
None of the staff were wearing masks or took any precautions for COVID-19, this includes the co-founder of the business, Robbie Abbas.
He did not tell me anything about the vehicle before I drove it, and did not even offered to be in the car while I took the vehicle for a test drive.
As I test drove the vehicle, I could tell there were multiple red flags - the car had to have been in an accident before.
At a loss, I took the vehicle back to the dealership and told Robbie it just wasn't for me.
Instead of taking me for my word, he persisted to ask why. I told him I wasn't interested in buying a car from them. He immediately took offense and asked if there was anything they did to make me not want to buy the car from them. I explained to him that no one wore a mask, wiped the car down, told me about the vehicle, or drove the car with me and I'd rather buy a car from the other dealerships that are taking those measures. Robbie instantly got defensive and started arguing with me. I literally had to put up my hand to interrupt him and say "you asked" so I could finally walk out of there.
All of these details are very telling about this business, and the biggest insult to me was being argued with after I answered his questions.
If anyone wants to feel safe during a pandemic, know about the vehicle they're driving and be treated with respect, this is NOT the dealership for you.
