My truck sat up there for 4 months with a broken transmission, very little to no communication about what was wrong with it and when it was going to get fixed. What few times I got a response to que transmission, very little to no communication about what was wrong with it and when it was going to get fixed. What few times I got a response to questions, it seemed like I was bothering the service department even asking. I had to pay $200 dollars out of my own pocket to get it there and got an are you stupid look when I asked if they were going to reimburse me for that. I could understand if it was not still under warranty, but it is. Bought this truck to replace one with over 200,000 miles on it, glad I hung on to my old truck or I would have had nothing to drive to work for 4 months. Would I recommend Lynn Layton Chevrolet to anyone for sales or service ? Absolutely not!!!! More

Dropped vehicle off on a Wednesday for a door latch assembly install. I pre-ordered the recommended parts from dealership. Parts arrived Thursday and I was told on Friday by Service TECH Wesley that pa assembly install. I pre-ordered the recommended parts from dealership. Parts arrived Thursday and I was told on Friday by Service TECH Wesley that parts were already installed on Friday afternoon so they were checking my battery. But initial diagnosis was taken care of. Well I traveled by flight from my California Deployment on Monday morning back to Decatur and went directly from airport to dealership only to be told on arrival that my vehicle was not ready and that the parts ordered were incorrect. Thus the vehicle wouldn't be available for another couple days. Because I had flown in I had no other option but to then go down the street and rent a vehicle from Enterprise Rental, for $563.15. Vehicle was finished on Tuesday evening. Lack of communication and misinformation on original parts recommended by Lynn Layton added to the overall frustration in the total experience had with dealership. More
