Go there with your husband, especially if you are an asian woman. Otherwise they will smile at you, bring a tool box pretending checking for you, and sell you a wheel unlock without any explanation – ya asian woman. But they want to make money from you since you walk into their door. When you return they will smile at you say “oh you have the bolts that included in this set”. Yah I still have to break the lock and, what about the wheel unlocks on other 3 wheels on my car? That’s what I encountered today. Yah, they had a nice attitude, brought a box tried every unlock pieces in the toolbox, then just wrote down whatever a part number feels like to be, collecting the money and You Go! It was not until I came back from the tire technician they smiled at me again: “you have to special order and it takes two weeks”. Why didn’t they explain it to me in the first place? They still smile at you – “Got Ya”. What if my car died on the road because of a flat tire? I don’t have to say further more. This is not the traditional American customer service attitude. This is un-spoken discrimination to woman and non-Caucasian, a small percentage yet the discrimination is there. More

It is obvious that Mark has exceptional knowledge of the Honda CR-W EX-L and answered all of my questions with confidence - and didn’t even mind if I asked the same questions more than once. Mark made my purchase of the Honda CR-V an easy decision, by treating me with respect and taking the time to make me feel like a valued customer. Mark’s choice to toss in personal aspects of life helped to make me feel at ease, talking about the Honda Company, how he personally owns Honda vehicles and even sharing about the 1981 Honda sitting in the show room. I traded in a used car and bought a new Honda Odyssey in under 2 hours, after an initial visit of about 15 minutes and a couple of emails regarding details on the buy and sell sides of the deal. Once we arrived at the dealership, she honored that exact price and walked us through the process effortlessly. She clearly explained each step of the purchase process and was our total advocate along the way. Tom Dunning, finance department, was also wonderful to work with and he, too, explained the purchase and trade-in agreement and figures with complete knowledge. i am a 65 year old curmudgeon who has bought a car every 5 years for the last 50 years. my experience with Beth Daniels was the only time i have ever dealt with a car salesperson that the experience was ple 5 years for the last 50 years. my experience with Beth Daniels was the only time i have ever dealt with a car salesperson that the experience was pleasant. when i buy a car i research every vehicle i can afford for months before i purchase. i usually know more about the car and the going prices than the salesperson. i walked out of the local ford dealership and was asked by the salesman at wilder honda to deal with someone else after i caught both of them flat out lying to me and called them on it. my experience with beth daniels was totally different. straightforward, honest, no xx. a fair price right off the get-go. no pressure or hype. she contacted me after i inquired about a particular car in their inventory over the internet. she called me and quoted me a price and gave me a valuation of my trade in using my opinion of condition and mileage as a basis of the offer. right away the amounts were acceptable, fair and had a combined difference of over $3000 from what i was quoted as the first offer by two other dealers on the exact same car. i accepted her first offer over the phone and arranged for her to come in on her day off to meet me. i drove literally through the snow, over 100 miles, and had to take a ferry to go to this dealership when the local honda dealer was 10 miles away. i was geared up for a fight because i couldn't believe they were actually selling a car like an adult. i expected last minute nonsense like i have experienced in the past with other dealers. when i got there NOTHING changed. she met me there on her day off with her perfect child and walked me through the process. in and out in about 90 minutes. the deal was as described and was sweetened a little with accessory credits we decided on. there was no quibbling about the condition of my trade in or any other aspect of the price.could i have got a better deal? maybe. you never really know with how cars are sold, but i got a fair deal. could i have got the same from my local dealer? again maybe, after hours of negotiation, arguing, running back and forth to the phantom decision maker, and raising my blood pressure. i'd rather do it this way. i have added beth daniels to my car contacts and will go to her first, if i live long enough to buy another car!
