Drew helped me to understand the purchase options that were available to me and once my decision was made I was driving away in my new Mini in less than 2 hours. My Finance visit went smoothly just as Drew had conveyed it would. Drew called me later in the week to see how I liked my Mini and I couldn't be happier. I will be a Mini customer for a long time. Friends have already commented on my Mini and have shared my experience with them. You are lucky to have an employee like Drew who loves his job. I have always wanted a MINI, and was finally able to purchase one from MINI North Scottsdale. Adam (internet sales) was awesome in the initial process answering all of my questions until I could visit f purchase one from MINI North Scottsdale. Adam (internet sales) was awesome in the initial process answering all of my questions until I could visit for a test drive, and upon arrival the transition to Drew (sales) was seamless, and his service and attention were awesome. After confirming my purchase over the phone later that day, I was in an out in less than an hour and every person, from Renate up front to their financial team, was great to work with. Stopped in on a whim and next thing I knew I was driving home a Mini convertible. Thanks to Drew we were able to quickly agree to a price. James was amazin, I had called him months ago to run some prices for me on a new Mini and it was not possible for the price I wanted at that time. I appreciate him not wasting my time and being upfront with prices for me on a new Mini and it was not possible for the price I wanted at that time. I appreciate him not wasting my time and being upfront with me. A few months later I saw a used one that appealed to me and called him again. That one was slightly out of my price range but he sent me pictures of another one. I went up there and it was quick and painless he told me what we needed in order to get the payments I wanted and was patient and friendly the whole time. The car is beautiful and this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I dont feel the need to ever go to a different dealership. More
My experience at MINI North Scottsdale, Drew Besenfelder and the entire staff was the most effective and efficient I have ever experienced in purchasing an automobile. Prior to going to the dealership I spent quite a bit of time looking at different vehicles, comparing miles per gallon, performance, visited the consumer report site, crash ratings, etc. We had been to a time looking at different vehicles, comparing miles per gallon, performance, visited the consumer report site, crash ratings, etc. We had been to a local Toyota dealer the day before and took a Rav4 for a ride and came home and researched the Mini again. As luck would have it we happened to see an acquaintance the next morning who had just bought the new Countryman at North Scottsdale and they recommended the dealership highly to us so we paid them a visit. Everyone was so friendly and courteous and did everything they could to ensure we had all our questions answered. James Kelly was our sales associate and he was unbelievably thorough and a real pleasure to do business with. James worked with us to get what we found to be a very good price on our new Mini and a very fair price for our trade in. I would recommend James Kelly and this dealership to anyone interested in owning a Mini. More

Every time I buy a new car I spend at least a year deciding what I want. I research several car magazines and read the reviews, check the resale price, safety features, performance, and also check wit deciding what I want. I research several car magazines and read the reviews, check the resale price, safety features, performance, and also check with the insurance company to see how they have done in accidents, theft etc. I also like going to large car shows, like the one in Chicago, so I can talk with the company reps and other attendees to get their opinion. Therefore when I go to a dealership I want the salesperson to know at least as much as I do about the car and the different option packages. It's been a long time since i've met someone like Dave Smith. He started by asking how much I knew about the car and how much information I needed. Not only is he an expert on Mini's but drives one himself. After giving me an extensive history of the car and all the changes and improvements over the years Dave took us on one of the most informative test drives I've ever been on. He drove first, explained all the features, controls etc., and then demonstrated the performance. I was then allowed to test drive the car and was amazed at the, acceleration and handling characteristics. I was also very impressed with warranty and extended service on the vehicle. Initially, I was not intending to buy a Mini because i've been waiting for the Camaro ZL1 coming the first of the year (2012). I've owned Olds Cutlass's, Corvettes, several Trans Ams, a Firehawk and more recently a 2006 Chevy SSR. After Daves demo and personal experience with the Mini I ordered the John Cooper Works Mini with most of the options. Dave was very patient with me during this time and helped with building the car on the computer. What I really liked was his personal opinion of the different options when asked. A few days after I put the money down I decided to add another option. I tried contact Dave late that afternoon and got his answering machine and left a message. Dave had a busy day but returned the call at 8PM that night. After telling him I wanted to add a feature ,he rebooted his computer, checked to see if it was possible, made the change and emailed me the new invoice. I really can't think of what more a car salesperson can do for a customer. Needless to say I can't wait to get the car. If my experience is anything like what has happened so far, I'll be back for another purchase. More
