I was told the issue causing my car not to start was battery and spark plugs/ignition coil related. I had them replace my battery, but was not satisfied with the quote for the plugs/coils; as I could ge battery and spark plugs/ignition coil related. I had them replace my battery, but was not satisfied with the quote for the plugs/coils; as I could get genuine Mini parts online for @$315, which is less than half of what the dealer quoted (@$690). I will be replacing the spark plugs and coils myself. I did confirm with the service manager that the vehicle would start and was fine to drive with the old spark plugs/ignition coils until the new ones arrived…that is not the case. The vehicle has not started since the day after I got it back from the dealer. I’m not happy and will be following up with the dealer. More

I have needed an oil change for over a month. Mini of Fairfield had no weekend appointment availability which made extremely challenging to have this service done. I am a working professional with long h Fairfield had no weekend appointment availability which made extremely challenging to have this service done. I am a working professional with long hours during the week. I also live and work approximately an hour away from both Mini dealerships in Connecticut. It is not feasible for me to just schedule an appointment for an oil change in the middle of the day. Unfortunately I had to use my sick time to get my oil changed. Once I arrived at Mini of Fairfield I was told by one of the advisors that I would receive a loaner. I stated that I intended on waiting. I was told that I couldn’t wait at Mini because they didn’t want me getting “anxious” or “antsy” waiting for my car to be serviced. I was then told that my vehicle needed recall service. I was never made aware of this prior to my appointment (which I scheduled several weeks prior). I never received an email or phone call stating that a recall service was needed. A one hour oil change turned into a very unexpected 5 hour oil change and recall service. As I am not from Fairfield, I didn’t want to drive aimlessly around town nor did I want to pay the exorbitant $4.95 per gallon fee to drive the loaner vehicle all over town or even back home, as was suggested to me by the advisor. As I was not permitted to wait at Mini, I had to park down the street in a Walmart parking lot and wait in my car for hours. During that time my phone died and I did not want to miss a call stating my vehicle was ready. I returned to the dealership and the advisor was unapologetic to the inconvenience this caused me and seemed to believe I was being impatient or pretentious. I informed the advisor that had I known that the recall service was needed I would have scheduled for another day. Another advisor gave me a cable to plug into the loner car as I was at risk of missing an important meeting. I waited in the loaner, again, in a local parking lot, another 2 hours before my vehicle was ready. With regard to my sales experience last year, the changes with the Mini franchise and the lack of customer service this will be the last Mini that I ever lease. More
Very helpful as I had a tire replacement emergency due to a killer pothole - got an early appointment and dealer did a great job in finding tire, installing it and inspecting.
