My wife love MINIs and she always wanted one. I live in Kansas City and I worked with local dealer and few other dealers in midwest. I was looking for lease and MINI website has $250 lease special. No dealer has offered that deal except MINI of St.Louis. Mark Eversgerd was totally honest and he first asked me to contact local dealer about the lease special which requires pre-order. I contacted and I found that they were not really interested in offering that deal. I thought it is not practical and MINI just advertise those kind of deals to attract or grab attention of people. I stopped looking and started thinking of some other car for my wife. Mark Eversgerd, followed up after a week and asked me if I got response from local dealer. He offered the deal and he was totally transparent about fees, taxes and everything. What ever he quoted, those were the numbers I saw while signing the lease. He was very nice to us and managed to get us a month free of payment. We drove to St.Louis and got the MINI and my wife was very happy. I should really thank Mark for all his help on find a lovely MINI for my wife. More
My wife and I had already decided we wanted a Mini Convertible, used, not too many miles and had to be an automatic. We went in on a Saturday. Mark greeted us. We told him what we were looking for. He was up front and said they had no used convertibles, but as long as we were there, why not test drive a Mini with a sunroof. We came back totally in love with Mini's, but I had to tell Mark that as much as we loved the Mini we just drove, I had my heart set on a convertible and would eventually hate anything else (delayed buyer remorse syndrome). Mark excused himself for a minute. When he returned, he told us he had a 2007 Mini S convertible coming in Monday on a trade. It had automatic, tons of extras, was low mileage and we'd have to see it to believe it. We got a call Monday around noon from Mark advising us the car was in. Off we went. Drove the car, came back and made an offer. Mark checked with Matt and came back with an offer that split the difference. I still call it fate, but since last July, "Cooper" has become my all-time favorite car. At the age of 69, I've owned dozens of new and used cars. THE MINI ROCKS! So does Mark and Mini of St. Louis. When I was new to MINI as a brand, Mark showed me exactly what made a MINI a MINI, and provided an excellent and professional buying experience. In fact, he converted me from big block 450+ hp vehicles to these little monsters - they're just too much fun! Fast forward another 18 months, and I've now purchased a third MINI (the newest also purchased from Mark) - two being John Cooper Works models (R52 and R60). Being very familiar with MINIs at this point, I knew exactly which build and options I wanted in my new Mini, but Mark provided clarity to my order and helped me fine tune my options. Once the order was placed, he continued to follow up with me from start to finish (and even helped me to make a few changes along the way). Matt McMillin, the sales manager at Mini STL, has always been extremely helpful and friendly - really going the extra mile to make sure I've been taken care of. From loaners to custom orders and requests, I doubt you can find a better sales manager out there than Matt! Also, as of last month, they have their new showroom open - it's FAR better than the little crammed space they used to have in Clayton. If you haven't been out to the new building, you really should take a trip - it's pretty cool. And I know... by this point, it kind of sounds like an advertisement, but I can assure you that it's just an actual representation my experiences. Mark and Matt have always ensured that I am completely satisfied with my purchases, and I would not hesitate to send friends and family to them and to the MINI brand in general. More
This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Venturing into a unique car like the Mini, we were given the time & attention from Mark and the Mini staff to make the right decision. They worked long and hard to explain all the features and to pick out the car that best fit our needs. And all of this was done in a low pressure environment. The car and the service sold itself...there wasn't any need to push. My wife LOVES her Mini - both for the driving experience and the care she received. Let's go motoring!! (Also, Mark came in on his day off when we picked up the car and spent 2-3 hours showing my wife all the features and helping her get the car 'just right'. Now that's service!!!) More

When I returned, they told me that they would keep the loaner available in case I wanted to leave again while they continued to work on my vehicle. Awesome service!! Very informative...these guys answered all of my questions without hesitation. I had one piece that was making a rattling noise...I thought it would be a simple fix...they looked at it and said they were not happy with just doing the simple fix and ordered a new part for me. Way better than I ever expected. More
First of all, I too love my Mini Convertible! I had a great experience when I went to test drive it last October and it helped that it was very warm and I got to drive with the top down. I had looked at the Mini and drove it, then I stated that I want to have my husband come back with me to look at it for his input. Even though I came back with my husband, I was treated as the buyer and not the "wife/female" that another dealership had. This was going to be my car and I was the one who got the attention regarding it! I have also had great experience the 2 times I was at the service dept. for a warranty check up and the other for a small issue that was fixed while I waited. There I was treated with respect and the courteous that I expected as a customer. I loved the way my Mini looks when they get done - like brand new - clean & shinning. Almost can't wait to take it back for that alone! I enjoy my service experience and my Mini. Glad the weather is getting warmer cause my top is going down!!! Thanks for your efforts to all the staff. I recommend Mini of St. Louis. PS: I wish they were closer to Alton, IL so I didn't have to drive 45 mins., but then I wouldn't have an excuse to have lunch with my husband. More

I went to Mini for the first time recently and could not have been more pleased. Not only was the work done well and quickly, the department checked my warranty and then informed me there was extra work tha have been more pleased. I purchased a car from the MINI dealership right at the time the recession had hit. I had been to several dealers with no real success in finding the right car for me. It seemed like all the salesmen wante time the recession had hit. I had been to several dealers with no real success in finding the right car for me. It seemed like all the salesmen wanted to do was play games, and they seemed to think since I was a girl I'd be too dumb to catch on. For example, one salesman tried to sell me a used car for more than the new car price. Another wouldn't go and check the price of the car I test drove unless I would agree up front that I was definitely buying the car. (Who agrees to buy a car when they don't know the price? I'm just sayin!) A third didn't have the advertised car on the lot, but he would sell me this other more expensive car -- aka ye old bait and switch. The MINI sales person, Karen Fortune, by contrast treated me like a person with intelligence, and didn't try any of these silly games. And when I expressed that I didn't really want a sunroof or racing stripes on my car, she took care of both things, offering me a customer loyalty discount to boot! She really wanted to sell me a car! Well that pays off, because I don't think I'll ever buy another brand again and when I buy a new MINI I will definitely try to buy it from Karen. Anyone who asks about MINI I tell them to look for Karen and tell her Renee sent you. If you are reading this, I think you should ask for Karen (and tell her I sent you)! MINI is a great car in general (no maintenance problems on mine in three years whatsoever) and Karen was just great. No silly games whatsoever, and she didn't treat me like I was some silly blond who doesn't know anything about buying a car! Not only that but I've had no maintenance issues on my MINI whatsoever in three and one-half years time. Thanks Karen! More
