The buying process was easy quick and efficient but that is about the only positive feedback I have for this dealership. Being that I was buying remotely, I took the time to carefully review all the picture is about the only positive feedback I have for this dealership. Being that I was buying remotely, I took the time to carefully review all the pictures and the walk around video of the truck that was posted to their website and even had set up a phone call to do a walkaround of the vehicle with the salesperson. I also took the time to archive these videos and photos in order to protect myself from what I thought was my biggest liability and that was shipping damage. Upon delivery of the vehicle I immediately noted from 40 feet away that the front wheels had significant damage all over the face of the wheels. I also took note that there was no temporary tag on the vehicle. He informed me that the vehicle was handed over to him with wheel damage and no tags and that he would contact his dispatcher to get me the pictures that were taken upon pick up. At the same time I also called the Pre-Owned car manager, Pierce Brown, and informed him that I thought the vehicle had been damaged in shipping and had opened a claim with the shipper and that I only had 24 hours to dispute any damages. I sent pictures of the damaged wheels to Pierce who agreed that "we definitely would have seen that" (see text message attached). I never received the pictures the following day as promised. I spent the next 5 days pressuring both the salesperson and Pierce for the pictures and was repeatedly assured that I would receive them the following day until I finally received one picture of one wheel from the sales person showing NO damage to the one wheel. Yet undenounced to the dealer I had received pictures from the shipper 4 days prior showing the damage was there at the time the vehicle was handed over to the shipper. At this point that I knew something was not adding up and I again continued to pressure them for pictures until I finally received a call from Pierce who informs me that he is reviewing the pictures and that its "possible" the damage was there prior to the shipper picking up the truck and he offers me a storyline that its possible that the pictures that were provided to me and for the website were taken prior to them actually being in possession of the vehicle and that the previous owner may have damaged it between the time they took the pictures and when they took possession of the vehicle and that they just "missed" the damage, contrary to his prior statement "we definitely would have seen that". This of course made no sense to me but he offered to talk to his manager about it and see what he could do. That was the last time I spoke to him and I have followed up 4 times with no response (see attached messages) and never received the pictures as promised other then two pictures showing no damage. The day after I received the Temp Tag I took the truck for a ride and noticed the steering wheel was off center and the vehicle was pulling to one side. I called the local Ford dealership and brought it in for a wheel alignment. While the vehicle was at the dealership the service advisor called me and said the Alignment was way off and asked me if I had ever been off roading with the truck or bottomed out the truck to which I replied no and that I had received the truck with the alignment being off. She further explained that the technician had noted that there was severe gouging to the front axle, steering assembly and air dam and that they had found numerous 6 inch sized rocks in the air dam and suspension components and that this damage had resulted in the alignment being "forced out". At this point, it is easy to draw the conclusion that the wheel damage happened during the same event that damaged the front air dam, axle and steering components. In conclusion, all evidence clearly shows one of two things happened here either the damage occurred while in their position and that they were just too incompetent to notice or this dealership was knowingly engaging in Consumer Fraud. About 15 minutes after setting the appointment on-line, I got a call from Robert Buckly. He said, "I noticed you made an appointment for Friday and your out of town. You really don't want that because we are so busy your truck may get stuck here over the weekend. Bring it in tomorrow (Wednesday)." I was shocked that ANY service center would care that much to call me to re-schedule. When I arrived I could see that the dealership was extremely loaded with work. Robert said they have been slammed for a couple of years with the growth in Georgetown. He said we will get to your truck as quickly as possible. They gave me ride to the car rental. The NEXT day Robert called said they tested all the injectors, the fuel, the fuel delivery system, they cannot find any rough idle. And we talked about the recent recall and some other work that has been done to the truck. I drove the truck and it seemed to run fine. I don't know what it was that caused the rough idle but it was gone. Robert said to see the cashier and wished be a Merry Christmas. At the cashier, the bill was ZERO. I asked what about the tech time, I need to pay for his time. She said NO CHARGE. I was amazed. They not only got my truck in early, spent time looking for a transient problem, and then did not charge me. I will always to the Mac Haik Dodge in Georgetown. And I really appreciate Robert Buckly. These guys are HACKS, and lying SOBs. They jerked me around for several hours over two days, regarding a 2nd key fob on. 2024 dealer certified Kia Sorento. Long story short, they first wanted me to pay for them to get a 2nd key that said didn’t come in when they took the car in on trade, (I walked away); then they called me back and said they’d pay for it at the same negotiated price; then the next day, they came back and said they’d only pay for the new fob - but I had to pay $185 to Kia to get it programmed!!! Who does that!!! I walked away for good!! Bought a better (used) DEALER CERTIFIED Kia Sorento X-line SX Prestige AWD (with both keys, LOL😝) from Kia of S. Austin the next day for the same price out the door!! Avoid Mac HACK (Haik) at ALL COSTS!! More
