I have always taken my Expeditions (current and former, both purchased there) to Mac Haik for regular scheduled service, new tires, batteries, and/or anything else that may have come up. I have always bee both purchased there) to Mac Haik for regular scheduled service, new tires, batteries, and/or anything else that may have come up. I have always been pleased. This time, for some reason, there seemed to be a little mix-up with getting my vehicle serviced in a timely manner after it was taken back to the shop area. I was seeing cars/owners come and go (who came in after me) as I waited patiently for several hours for routine maintenance and the annual state safety inspection. Somehow, it apparently got lost in the shuffle between service and inspection. My service advisor, Shay, was very sincere and apologetic for the mix-up/delay and, as a result, though I did not expect it, made my wait worth the while. More
If I could give ZERO stars I would in a heartbeat! The Service Department is the WORST I have ever dealt with. I brought my F150 in on June 1st to have the dash board checked. It was bubbling up and the g Service Department is the WORST I have ever dealt with. I brought my F150 in on June 1st to have the dash board checked. It was bubbling up and the glove box was sagging. Which both are issues covered under the trucks 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty. I brought the truck in on June 1st. One month prior to the warranty expiring. I was told over the phone that I did not need an appointment for warranty issues. I came in and was approached by a guy named Trevor. He then told me that he could not even look at my truck with out an appointment! I mean it was SUPER obvious the bubbled dash and glove box. Would have taken him 5 mintues to take some pictures and send them to Ford. He refused and said I had to have an appointment. Fine, I booked the soonest appointment, July 26th. At that time, I specifically asked if my truck would still be under warranty and was told "Yes, you are covered through 36,000 miles". Okay, great. I came back on July 26th, Trevor took pictures of the issues. I also had to ask if there were any additional recalls or issues that could be taken care of. He said no, until I asked about the TBS....then magically he remembered that was an issue. We added it to the list. I was told that he would send in the pictures and then contact my husband when he had an eta on the dash and glove box repair. NO mention that my warranty was up back on July 5th!!!! Or that the dash could not be fixed due to us being the 2nd owner!!! Then after weeks of calling for eta and getting NO response from Trevor. We finally get a hold of him, just to find out that we were pretty much SOL. He knowingly pushed our appointment out, to after our warranty expired, so that they did not have to honor the work. He claimed to have called us FOUR TIMES. No record of these calls being made, other than his BS notes. When I spoke with his manager Edwin, I was told I was SOL and that I could take the truck to another dealer because they really didn't care to help me or acknowledge there mistake. I was FLOORED!!! He was so rude! Right in front of my children too! I will NEVER do business here again! Now, I have a bubble in my dash board, a glove box that sags that could have been fixed under warranty. That just ruins my resale value on my truck. Plus, I have to look at it everyday and remember how horrible I was treated at Mac Haik! More

First service appointment after buying car from them in June. I waited for well over 2 hours in the waiting room. When I checked with my advisor who checked me in I was referred to a separate advisor wit June. I waited for well over 2 hours in the waiting room. When I checked with my advisor who checked me in I was referred to a separate advisor with whom I had spoken on phone. He lied and said he had told me on phone I was required to have someone pick me up. His manager jumped into room and backed him up making me wrong and with an intimidating attitude. They never did any service on my car. Worst experience at a service department in my life. More

We had two outstanding recalls on our car. The appointment scheduling was very easy, and our service advisor kept us informed throughout the day. When we picked up the car, the car was washed and appointment scheduling was very easy, and our service advisor kept us informed throughout the day. When we picked up the car, the car was washed and vacuumed. We were very pleased with the entire process! More
I was lied to 3 times by the same employee. He told me I needed an air filter when I had replaced it not long after the last oil change. Then he showed me one lug nut that I bent up when I replaced my Fron needed an air filter when I had replaced it not long after the last oil change. Then he showed me one lug nut that I bent up when I replaced my Front brakes and said I needed all of them replaced because they wouldn't fit my tire changing tool that came with the truck and said they would be $3.00 each. All of them? and they were $4.91 each. When making the work order I asked to have the u-joints checked due to a vibration. When checking out I asked about the u-joints and he said they put some grease in them. Bull crap! They are sealed joints. Still have the vibration. It's usually the carrier bearing and I'll now replace it myself. The techs that actually do the work are great, but; some of the guys that write you up and then try an up-sell you with lies is disgusting. The likely hood of being back is slim to not. People/employees like that are a detriment to business. More
