I apologize for your disappointment. I wish all customer repairs could be covered under warranty, but brakes and tires are considered wear items and are not covered. This is what contributed to the cost of your repairs. We were unaware of a light on at the time that you picked up and would have gladly relooked at it if you had brough this to our attention. I understand and fully expected to pay for anything not under warranty. My issue was your service department told me I had a problem with the front axle that was not covered under warranty, so I told them to hold off. When I brought the Jeep back with the service 4-wheel drive light on, they diagnosed that issue and said the fix, including the axle work was actually covered. What if I had simply authorized the work? Unrelated to service. I sold the jeep after I paid the first 2,500 bill to your dealership. I thought it was a low offer but that's the market. However, service had replaced the radiator cap and did an oil change that cost $140. I asked if they could at least eat that, and they said no. They even made me pull my own plates off the jeep. Something they said they would take care of for me. No big deal. You lost a customer over a radiator cap and oil change. Mind boggling since I told the salesman if he treated me fairly, I would work through him when I leased my next truck that was expiring in June. Short sighted. The car business must be good to be that rigid.
