A serious lack of clear communication made our experience with this dealership a nightmare. We were without any vehicle for nearly a month, communicating with a salesman about our need to complete as much o with this dealership a nightmare. We were without any vehicle for nearly a month, communicating with a salesman about our need to complete as much of the deal as possible by phone or online so we weren't needing to spend money on Ubers to get back and forth. I had actually said we didn't want to actually come to the dealership unless we were assured we'd drive out ourselves. Finally got the requested down payment together, called to confirm the amount we had would be enough, took the Uber, got to the dealership only to be told they couldn't get us financing! What was the point of a month's worth of communication? The salesman and the finance person knew our situation and misled us into an appointment that was a waste of time for them and us I will say that at least, after we made enough of a ruckus about the "miscommunication", the dealership did provide us a free ride home, and the salesman reimbursed us for the Uber we took to get there. But, if the had been honest about their ability to get us financed from the beginning, we could have avoided a lot of grief and drama, and probably would have gone elsewhere much earlier. Long story short, we bought a brand new lemon with many issues within the first few months. In the year of owning the 2025 Palisade Calligraphy, it had sat on Kelly Hyundais lot for well over 3 months tot issues within the first few months. In the year of owning the 2025 Palisade Calligraphy, it had sat on Kelly Hyundais lot for well over 3 months total. They supposedly replaced the same set of parts 3 times. Then they did a seatbelt recall and after the work, the seatbelt notifications stopped working. It worked fine before. When we picked it up after its most recent stint in service (3 months) there were some VERY noticeable scratches. They scan the body upon each time it comes in for service and when we asked to see the scan, we were told it was “grainy.” With service, we have had to fight for loaners, but after the 3rd or 4th time in for service they did stop trying to get out of giving us one. Sheldon was a decent salesman, but the customer service and care, from him, stopped the moment we purchased the car and took it off the lot. We even waited the extra day to pick it up to help him leave early and meet some type of quota. I would not recommend this dealership. This has been a year of nightmares. John Lim, the manager, has at least reached out to me to make me feel somewhat heard but at the end of the day, the problem was with the car and service. More

I had a wonderful experience in communicating with Mr. J. Gooding he was knowledgeable and led me in the right direction into looking to get my daughter into a vehicle for traveling to and from school and J. Gooding he was knowledgeable and led me in the right direction into looking to get my daughter into a vehicle for traveling to and from school and work he was very patient, and even spoke to my daughter to find out what she would like and what what involved in her travels so he could fit her into the right vehicle. Two appointments for inspection reschedule due to snow and one other issue. Car over heating just before appointment and was put in for repair. Verdict no problem. Same problem, a few days later, called b and one other issue. Car over heating just before appointment and was put in for repair. Verdict no problem. Same problem, a few days later, called back to bring in again. Week later appointment but could drop off and leave there. I said no. No loaner car available. Wife needed package returned via STAPLES so went even though leery of it. Got there but car problems got much worse so called dealer who was close by. Explained to manager, I was close by, about run around and stress of it all. She got me a loaner and told me to drop car off, and a week later my car was repaired. The good news is the repair was done right and the car detailed inside and out. Even three open bags of candy nicely folded closed in my glove box! The bad news was missing a brand new, not yet worn, fur lined leather gloves my wife had bought me! Last but not least were the pristine condition front mats tucked under the Weather Tech mats which were no longer there! This was realized a few months later when I did a cleaning. No one other than dealer and myself had access to the car! Oh wait there was also an extra couple hundred miles on the odometer as my car was used as the service vehicle since I took theirs as a loaner. I did get a two inch "knob" with a screw tucked between the Weather Tech back floor mat and the original that came with the car. No idea what it is for as it is not from my car! The purchase story of this car would require another 15 lines minimum! Suffice to say I had to sign over my $500 rebate, after market add-ons, mark-up to buy this car during covid. I'd like to think they fired the person(s) since the name change from Major to Kelly. If you service there take your valuables from the car. If you are buying get a copy of everything you sign! Inspections are free for life of vehicle so there is that. Good luck to all car buyers out there! Car was repaired (finally) properly and under warranty. More
