Service Department tried to scam me for $2200. They told me my vehicle had a siezed caliper and recommended replacing both calipers and new brake lines for $2,200. They said the pads were wearing They told me my vehicle had a siezed caliper and recommended replacing both calipers and new brake lines for $2,200. They said the pads were wearing uneven, etc because of it. We took the vehicle to a family member that’s a master technician at another shop. The only thing wrong with the vehicle is that the pads needed replaced. No seized caliper or collapsed brake line. He took pictures of the old pads and showed me they were not warped or wearing uneven and that all brake systems were working properly. I called in to speak to the Service Mgr and ask for my diagnostic fee back(as I had just purchased 2 new tires and performed routine maintenance 3-4 weeks earlier and the pads should’ve been checked then). He never offered an apology and his tone was that he could care less. I made this call on a Friday. He said he would speak to the Tech who performed the work and would call back on Monday. I heard nothing back. More
Don’t use this dealership. I signed a lease agreement for a Chevrolet Equinox EV with VIN 3GN7DNRPXSS231099 on 6/19/2025 at Malcom Cunningham Chevrolet, 2175 Mansell Rd, Alphar I signed a lease agreement for a Chevrolet Equinox EV with VIN 3GN7DNRPXSS231099 on 6/19/2025 at Malcom Cunningham Chevrolet, 2175 Mansell Rd, Alpharetta, Ga 30009. A customer account and GM Rewards points were created under my name. However, after finalizing the paperwork, the dealer demanded an additional $1,000 and sold the vehicle to another customer who offered more. This appears to be a clear violation of good faith and fair dealing. I have the below information and signed agreement pictures. The full VIN of the vehicle. A copy of any signed documents or agreements A screenshot or confirmation of your GM Rewards account and vehicle association A description of what happened, including the $1,000 price increase and the sale to another customer I have a friend to will use testimony for legal action. Lease/purchase agreement (signed copy) Text communications GM account creation confirmations Screenshots of the vehicle tied to my GM Rewards We signed officially lease agreement but the requesting after this agreement additional $1000 payments. Even though we had agreed on the price, lease term, and promotions, and I officially signed the lease agreement, they asked me for an additional $1,000 because they said they sold the car to another customer—even though I had already signed the lease. They wasted two days and 10–15 hours of my time, and they are liars. They have no professional or ethical business practices. I do not recommend anyone to go there or do business with them.Do not purchase or lease anything’s from cheaters. More
From my experience I'm not sure how Malcolm Cunningham receives any positive reviews, guess it's like the proverbial broken clock, right time twice a day! Their sales team is beyond incompetent, there is receives any positive reviews, guess it's like the proverbial broken clock, right time twice a day! Their sales team is beyond incompetent, there is no consideration regarding the customer's time. Don't answer questions, don't provide requested information, don't respond to inquiries ....... Unprofessional is much too complimentary. More
