Service I took my car for a routine oil change. There were a few other minor things that needed to be checked as well. The car is 2 years old with 30,000 mi I took my car for a routine oil change. There were a few other minor things that needed to be checked as well. The car is 2 years old with 30,000 miles. I was told that the car definitely needed 2 new tires (there were plugs in them) and the 2 others were dry rotted and needed to be replaced. I'm not sure about this. Does Chevy put low quality tires on their cars that need to be replaced after 30,000 miles? Was the dealer trying to make more money off of my visit? Was the concern of the service department legitimate? Honestly, I don't know. Just seems a little odd that the tires already need replacing. More
