My 2010 Equinox is barely driven. I bring it in for service every six months or so for an oil change , tire rotation and multi-point inspection, Typically after about 1000 miles ago, I bring it in for service every six months or so for an oil change , tire rotation and multi-point inspection, Typically after about 1000 miles ago, This time the front brakes were so shot that the ABS and stability control system was damaged and components had to be replaced. I am wondering why six months ago the brakes were fine and no replacement was needed and 1000 miles later they are totally shot to the extent the ABS and stability control was damaged. I also received a recommendation to repair an exhaust leak. When I received the same recommendation in February 2022 I took the Equinox to an independent garage to replace the manifold. Because that work had a two year warranty, I went back to that garage and trhey insist there is no exhaust lleak. Somebody is wrong. More

Typically my experience is phenomenal. However, this visit produced some disappointment. The service center did not have the (extremely common) part needed for my vehicle's maintenance. However, this visit produced some disappointment. The service center did not have the (extremely common) part needed for my vehicle's maintenance. They ordered it, however could not, or did not, give me an expected delivery date or time when my maintenance could be completed. Also, this service center has never offered me a loaner vehicle. Also, the service center employee is ALWAYS trying to get me to activate the On Star and I find that very stressful. More

My service representative was rather short and curt with me. Not very welcoming. The prices for service parts and labor were extremely high. Just seems only appropriate to throw in a car wash when you spend over 600$ on service. More
