The delays were not a result of logistical issues. In fact, the transmission arrived within 1 week which was very fast. The delays in installing the transmission appeared to be a shift in priority by the service department or the service sales person (Matt) . In other words, I was told the delay was related to issues with the service department being behind on work which pushed my transmission service delivery date out by several weeks. As a veteran owned business owner who generate revenue from my commercial vehicle, delays on delivery cause a huge financial hit to my business. I explained this to the GM and Matt. It's very evident as employees for Ford, they didn't understand a business owner perspective. In terms of your apology, that's good. What's most important is what action steps are you taking so other customers, business owners don't have the same bad experience. My guess is that you say I apologize, but zero action is taken to address the root issue which is the people who cause the problem. What are you willing to regain me as a Ford customer?
