I was told the car was still being worked on. When I arrived at 3:52, the doors were locked and the service adviser had left. I was able to get my keys from a man still there, but it was still unclear if the repair had been done. I followed up on Tuesday, and miraculously they had no record of my car even being there on Saturday. I left my number to get a call-back and didn't hear back. I decided to follow up again Thursday, and still got no clear response if the work had been done. It seems no one in the service department knows anything about a car that was left with them. I have the tags that were placed in my car as well as on my keys, the 3 emails, and 3 text messages reminding me of the appointment. I guess I'm better at documentation than a business. If you value communication, knowledgeable staff, and trust the security of your vehicle, DO NOT take your car here for service. Calling this a business is a joke! Needless to say, I do not trust Malloy Ford of Charlottesville with any service or future car buying. I'd rather drive to another dealership hours away before trusting any property with these individuals. More
The absolute WORST!!! I recently bought a 2016 Ford Focus from Malloy Ford on Pantops, and have taken it back due to paint damage from train transportation. And while my car IS covered by my warranty, and was re painted. The paint and collision department is the absolute WORST group of people I have ever had to deal with. Not only have I had to take my car back 4 times for trash in the paint. The 5th time I took it back, they not only STILL did a terrible job on the paint, they also destroyed my interior of my car. ALL door panels were scratched up, glue all over my dashboard, headliner bent up, seals and plastic molding messed up and the list goes on!!!! And a month of dealing with this department, my brand new car is still not fixed!!!! I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from these people again, nor will I EVER recommend ANYONE to this dealership. The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service ever!! My fience and I are now in the process of persuing a lawyer. They do NOT have a clue as to what customer service is, it has also become obvious that they do not pride themselves on pride in their work. I been lied to since day one, and no matter who I have taken this matter to within Malloy, they ALL lie to cover for one another. They have lied to me about the status of my car, that they can't even remember the things that they have said or promised. Save your selves A LOT of hassle and go elsewhere. More

On the way to the dealership for the 5000 mile tune-up (oil change and tire rotation) it broke down. Dealership wouldn't help. Couldn't send a driver to get her, doesn't provide loaners, and basically couldn't be bothered. Attempted to make her feel foolish by saying they couldn't replicate issue or get code to diagnose. She was told they could finish the job within hours... More like a day! Service said they'd call will an update by COB but that didn't happen. Wouldn't give her a ride to get a rental, her husband picked her up and handled that. Asked that she drop the rental of on her way back to the dealership... How? Were they going to pick her up this time? Then they asked that she sign the receipt for the rental! I tried to contact the GM but I continuously got the run around. Guess he can't be bothered either. They wrote estimate for the work to be done, we then planned a day for them to have the vehicle - the told me it would be done in 2 days. We are now on day 6 and they are still not done. EVERY person that I speak with can only say sorry. I have now had to call 15 of my customers and let them know we have to reschedule there service because Malloy ford can't fix a door on a brand new van. When I ask for the GM he apparently is never in the bldg, and his VM is not set up... what. They are not capable of repairing ANYTHING and there customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with in my 15 years of management. Find ANYONE other then Malloy. More

Extortion at the Finest I bring my car due for some service since it is still under warranty. It was having a few minor issues. When I arrive at the dealership they were too busy doing nothing to help me at the front desk. I eventually talk to a service member. I explain the issue and turn over the keys. The service member makes a comment about my keychain damaging the starter and he will add that to the repairs needed. I refused that option. I was leaving town that afternoon I waited for the free shuttle for an hour and a half. The driver was in no rush to bring me to the airport to catch a flight. I barley made it on the plane. I get a call a few hours later saying I needed four new tires and the issues my car was having where not covered under my warranty. I refused the offer and told them to stop service on my car. They did not even want to talk to me on the phone and demand while I was out of town to pick up the car whitin 24 hours. If you need service done to your car please do not go here at all. More

We called them it was late so I couldn't take car to them at that time. We called them they said they would call back they never called back. It's my fault should have taken it out there and made them look at it. We called more same results, none. I own 2 businesses in cville too. I wish I could take no responsibility for my products or work. They could have said they were sorry, or met me halfway however they chose to just deny they had anything to do with it. We have bought 5 cars from that building so they will loose money no mater how they handled the situation. They did say they would make there employees call peaple back something I feel they should have been doing all along. We drove to culpeper to buy our last car I hope everybody else drives 200 miles to buy a car rather than walk across the street to Malloy ford. More

I bought it 2 years ago from Battlefield Ford in Charlottesville with 50,000 miles on it. It now has 100,000 on it and haven't had any problems with it what so ever. The service advisor Joe suggested I change the plugs and filters and flush the fuel induction system. The spark plugs replacement was a three hour job. I thought that was high so I went online to find out. Not only was the price quote very reasonable, it was less than other prices people were paying for the same service. Plus I got a 10% discount on parts and labor. I absolutely love my Expedition and would recommend Malloy Ford to everyone. The service advisor Josette's customer service is fantastic. They recommended $1,800 worth of repairs insinuating the vehicle may have a safety issue. Had the repairs performed but when asked later, a Malloy Ford representative denied the original comment. Were the $1,800 in repairs really necessary? More
