Mann Toyota responded

Before this vehicle was purchased the customer had been informed that it only came with one remote key because that was the only remote key that Mann Toyota received when the vehicle was brought to us on a trade in. When the customer purchased the vehicle they were also informed that we would make every effort to contact the original owners and retrieve the other remote key. After contacting the original owners in search of the second remote key we were informed that it had long since been lost. Some time later the customer reported that they had misplaced the remaining remote key and demanded that we compensate them for the key they had misplaced.
