I bought my car because of the outstanding salesperson, Dempsy Bluman, who sold it to me. He deserves praise and a raise, for he is the only reason I feel good about Maple Hill Auto. He has been consistently helpful, prompt, informed, and pleasant in helping me with the numerous problems which came with my car, unknown to both of us when I signed the paperwork and paid for all in December plus the additional service agreement coverage. Now I have learned that my car needs to be driven 2X a week for 50 minutes@50 miles/hr. Who knew? Nowhere do I read this in any sales paperwork, nor was I informed of this at purchase. Yesterday my car, driven only 100 miles since I bought it at Maple Hill, wouldn't start, 2nd time in 5 days. When I phoned Maple Hill for help, the female answering the phone told me, "Call your towing company". She's the one who told me about the problem with battery drainage "on all of these electronic cars". Really? Also, Jeff Daniel, manager of Maple Hill Service Dept., needs to do his homework before phoning customers (me) with erroneous information. Yesterday he made two mistakes when he called me. He told me that my car needed both oil (!) and a new battery which would cost me about $175.00(!). He was wrong on both of this statements, and because of my loss of trust in Maple Hill due to Jeff Daniel, I will not recommend that anyone do business there. Also, I am waiting for a replacement visor light on the passenger side of my car, non-functional when I bought it, although this certified pre-owned agreement with Maple Hill states everything worked fine when I bought it. No. What else am I going to discover is wrong with my car? I had planned to drive it next week to CA and back, a good 7,000-8,000 miles. Because I am now distrustful of something further going wrong while I am driving that long distance, I have cancelled my trip. Also, when Maple Hill "washed" my car yesterday, it was dirtier, now covered with dirty water spots, than when I took it in. I do thank Dennis Schurman in sales for coming to ask if I needed anything. I've taken time to write this review because I care very much about good service and am truly angry for the reasons stated above. More
