Didn't fix the problem Service was nice enough to take our car in early. However, they did not fix the problem we put it in for. We have an issue with the vehicle detecting sensor, which isn't working so adaptive cruise control is disabled and we get alarms while driving. The service rep called and told me the car was done, the sensor was shut off. I explained to him that I disabled through the controls in an attempt to make the alarms while driving to stop. I also tried to explain that it turns on after driving it for a while. He assured me there were no alarms, the techs drove it, no issue. They said the alarms were because I disabled it. I tried to explain again why it was disabled, and that the alarms were coming before I disabled it. He assured me everything was fine. He told me that I should take a video if it happens again. We picked the car up, and my wife started getting the alarm within 20 minutes of driving the car. I called the service rep and we talked. He was very apologetic and nice. He said that they are booked out for a couple weeks. He told me to drop the car off and he will see what he can do to get it looked at. I am disappointed on how this all turned out. I left the car there over vacation for multiple days. I also told them that I thought they did not address the problem, and they are not looking at the issue correctly, because I disabled it and the alarms were coming before I disabled it. Now I have to drop the car off and hope that it will get fixed in a reasonable time. This creates a major inconvenience for my family as they do not give out loaner cars. I wish they would have looked again after we talked and I explained my concerns while the car was with them. More

Completely incorrect diagnosis Given incorrect diagnosis. My vehicle dash alert lights all illuminated and there was an immediate power decline and loss of power steering. Told I needed after-market stereo wires disconnected from the battery because they were arching and causing battery drain. Because it was after-market issue I was told the Subaru technician couldn't perform the work. I took it to a mechanic to have the wires disconnected only to find out there were no after-market wires connected to the battery. In fact, I needed a new alternator. Once replaced, the issue was fixed. The customer service representative was friendly but the diagnosis was completely incorrect and I was charged for this determination as well. More

They provided me with a courtesy vehicle for the day and compromised so that I wouldn't have to wait until 5pm to get my car back, as I was dropping my car off in the morning and needed to get back to my town before 5. Overall, the experience was positive and I was relieved to not have to pay anything, as Subaru is covering the recalls. To improve, however, more information could be provided to customers ahead of time. I wasn't aware that by agreeing to a courtesy vehicle I was pushing my car to the back of the line, so a 4 hour expected wait would have been 8 hours. The service bay was hectic and hard to navigate. At least five people walked past me waiting in my car, kind of in the way, before someone finally came and told me what I needed to do. More information ahead of time would be helpful and would reduce anxiety. More

Waited 2 1/2 hours for an oil change I had an appt. for. Service rep erroneously tagged my car for a major repair. Was scheduled for a an oil change that I had an appointment for. Went out to service desk and lady service reps discovered the error. Male service rep who made the error, hearing the problem, looked at me shrugged his shoulder and walked away. Ladies were very kind and caring. When I finally got my vehicle, male service rep offered an obviously forced apology. The ladies compted this oil change and the next one. Usually the service here is exemplary. I was totally surprised by the male service representative’s actions. Had he immediately offered an apology when he saw me and the ladies trying to remedy the situation, I would have been much more forgiving. Mistakes happen. Indifference and dismissive attitude is a choice. I will not work with this man again. More
