Hi David! I want to apologize that scheduling your follow up appointment was not offered to you before you left the dealership. If most definitely should have been, and I will address this with our service manager. Unfortunately, when it comes to warranty coverage, we cannot give a straight answer until it's looked at by a Hyundai technician. Hello! I agree that an hour and 45 minutes is too long to wait for an oil change, however you had a 40,000 mile service done per your prepaid VW Care contract. The 40,000 mile service is substantially longer than just an oil change. The 40,000 mile service does usually take about 2-3 hours. We gave your vehicle to a technician who is very good at getting the service done in a timely manner, and had another technician help him complete the service, in order to get your car back to you as quickly as possible due to you waiting at the dealership. According to your paperwork, you had your vehicle back 1 hour and 20 minutes after it was written up. We do everything we can to accommodate our customers and respect their time and schedules. Our service advisor even mailed you your paperwork so that you didn't have to sit and wait for it to print after your car was completed. I'm not sure what more we could have done to expedite the service you requested to be done on your vehicle. If you have any questions or any concerns, please call us at 269-342-6600. Thank you! Thank you for your response. I was told it would be about an hour. My appointment was 4pm and they gave me the keys at 5:45pm. Hannah is fantastic though. Very helpful and friendly.

I apologize about the wait time to speak to someone and that you never received a call back. I honestly don't know why your filters would have been marked in the yellow and red if they had just been replaced. Usually the filters are pulled out of your vehicle and shown to you as part of our multipoint inspection. Did this happen at your service?
