Oil Change I had no appointment. The service person checked and all I needed was an oil change. they rotated tires, topped off all fluids and washed the car. I had no appointment. I could have saved about $500 if I had purchased a vehicle used from an individual, but then I would have paid thousands for this repair. Maplewood Toyota didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. The bill was $0 because they stand behind their certified used cars. This is why I'm a loyal customer. More

Pay for services you REALLY need Local tire place wanted me to spend $2000 on suspension (bushings, struts, etc.) Maplewood's mechanic (Chris) checked those items and said they were f Local tire place wanted me to spend $2000 on suspension (bushings, struts, etc.) Maplewood's mechanic (Chris) checked those items and said they were fine. Another local place wanted me to get new tires. Maplewood said tread was okay. Advisor Tom spent time going over each recommended service item so I would be comfortable with the work needed and the costs. Chris inspected the car and did the work that NEEDED to get done. Replaced the timing belt due to vehicle mileage (90K.) Turns out water pump showed signs of problems, but they called to get permission to replace it, too. Yes, service is expensive. But that is because these folks are highly trained and know what to do. My bill was less than $1000. I might have spent $2000 on items that were fine. I have learned my lesson: go to Maplewood Toyota to keep our Highlanders in top running condition. More
