Service prevails over Price I traded a 2006 Highlander Hybrid Limited with just 58,000 miles on it and was in absolute mint condition from front to back, exterior and interior. I traded a 2006 Highlander Hybrid Limited with just 58,000 miles on it and was in absolute mint condition from front to back, exterior and interior. Even under the hood was spotlessly clean with Armorall on plastic components. Due to my research on several websites, I knew the allowance agreed upon after making several offers was a minimum of $2000.00 less than the value for a clean trade-in with exceptionally low mileage. In hindsight, I should have walked away from the first visit, but I was very familiar with Maplewood Toyota's Service Department. The 2006 Highlander had all its service done there since 2008 when I moved from New Brighton to Maplewood, and the service was always top notch. In lieu of that fact, I "caved in" and bought the 2016 Highlander Hybrid Limited on Maplewood Toyota's terms. I got a "Average" deal, but not a "Great" deal. (The 2006 was on Maplewood Toyota's website for just 1 day after it was on their premises.) More
