Would absolutely give less than 1 star if I could. I had

been in the market for a 2022 Bolt EUV for months because I wanted to make the switch to electric. However, with the chip shortage and the recall, it’s going to be awhile before that’s available. So I found a used 2021 Bolt here. I asked if it was impacted by the recall and they told me it was not, it was perfectly safe as long as I only didn’t charge it beyond 90%. We did everything ahead of time and just asked that the car be charged when we got there so I could see the battery worked and take it for a test drive. Not only was it not charged at all, they told me they had no idea how to charge it and had to send it somewhere else. But offered to send it there and have it charged and deliver it to me the next day. Something just felt off, so after the test drive and in talking to my wife, we walked away. Much too big of an investment to make somewhere you can’t trust. So, on the way home from our 2+ hour drive, I called another dealer and they were not only shocked but disgusted that they would be willing to sell this vehicle. Going on to tell me that GM is not only recalling all of them, but they’re actively trying to buy them back. They also failed to tell me that GM was asking folks not to charge them near their homes, and not to charge them unattended. I went elsewhere and bought another brand of EV. I would absolutely never step foot in this place - it took me contacting GM before entry even took the car off the internet for sale. Not only would I never step foot in this place, I’d avoid all of the Whalberg dealerships if this is how they do business - I’m still stunned a place is so slow, even with the industry’s issues that they’d be willing to put me and my family at risk without even giving us a warning. Disgusting.
