I am very glad to be part of the Gray Tesm. I am getting ready for a trip and asked that my tires be checked particularly during service. I searched for my Autobahn GTI among many different dealerships in the suburban MD/ DC metro area. There were no shady nor unscrupulous dealings as you oftentimes find to be the case. Ronald was honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. He had the car available for pickup several days earlier than he had originally indicated. We arrived to pick it up and after a short time spent reviewing features (Ronald paired both of our cell phones with the car's Bluetooth application) and signing papers, we were on the road back home. The dealership is located in a charming DC neighborhood. I am totally pleased with the car and the deal I was given...and the new GTI is absolutely to die for! More

I'd been taking my car for service to another dealership out in Virginia, but decided to give Martens a try as it's much close to my home in DC. Turns out, I should have made the switch ages ago. The service was terrific - making an appointment was easy (I did it by phone), people were friendly when I came in, and Larry called me back as promised when my car was ready. The shuttle to and from the Friendship Heights Metro was incredibly convenient, with friendly drivers in both directions, and a great service. And the 40,000 mile service they performed (including a very overdue oil change) made the car feel like a totally different vehicle. The only thing I'd ding them on is that they didn't vacuum inside the car. They did wash it, which is a nice touch, but I'd really encourage them to take the extra five minutes to vacuum. While Martens has made me love my GTI again, I'm annoyed that I have to pull the vacuum cleaner out to the garage today to totally complete the process. Still, great job all - I'll certainly be back! This was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had! If all dealerships were of this caliber the industry wouldn't be viewed so negatively. I dealt with 3 other VW dealerships before deciding on Martens and those dealerships were the absolute worst they were aggressive, dishonest and borderline rude. I'm telling everyone to go to Martens and when it's for me to purchase another vehicle I'm coming back, they've earned a customer for life. More

My overall experience at Martens Volkswagen was excellent. The salesman greeted me when I walked inside, and when I told him I wanted to look at the Tiguan, he described what models were available excellent. When we physically went to look at the car, he took time to go through all facets of the operation and interior specifics of the car. He was very patient answering my questions, and ready to accommodate me when I asked about different colors that were available, even to checking inventory in dealerships along the East coast. And when I asked to see the black Tiguan, which was off-site, he was happy to drive me over. The man who took care of the financial matters was a guru. He was thorough in explaining the several ways the car could be financed. All in all, Martens Volkswagen has a small, family-like atmosphere which gave me an overall comfort level. When I came to pick up the car two days later, everyone was helpful. The salesman again went over the basics of driving the car, programmed my phone in and got me on my way. All in all, with everyone's help, I feel I made a well-informed decision in purchasing my new Tiguan. More than anything, I love my new car! More
