Three days after buying the car, it completely died because of a bad battery. What should’ve been a simple replacement somehow turned into three weeks of waiting, constant delays, and almost zero communication. Most phone calls went unanswered, and I had to follow up nonstop just to get basic updates. Once I finally got the car back and was able to drive it again, I immediately found multiple issues that should’ve been handled before the car was sold: – The side-view mirror didn’t work – The taillight was cracked – The headlights were dim, fogged, and needed replacement Getting these things fixed took another five weeks, and again the car just sat there until I physically showed up in person to push them to even start working on it. The situation got so bad that I went to the Ocean Township Police Department to ask what could be done. They told me that because this is a private dealership, their hands were tied—but they also mentioned they’ve received many complaints from other customers about this same place. Hearing that honestly said a lot about the pattern of issues here. Between the delays, the lack of communication, and the endless back-and-forth, the entire process has been nothing but four months of torture. No customer—especially at a dealership selling luxury vehicles—should be treated this way. If you value honesty, communication, or just basic professionalism, do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. More

Steer clear… This place is a fraudulent operation, relying on the Maserati brand to sell defective used cars. Once purchased they will not follow through on any commitments. For example, if your car relying on the Maserati brand to sell defective used cars. Once purchased they will not follow through on any commitments. For example, if your car breaks down shortly after purchase, they will not timely honor the 30 day warranty. Service and responsiveness are overall horrendous - complete amateur hour. And don’t believe the positive reviews on this site. They were likely drafted by individuals that work for the dealership to inflate their ratings. More

I was told by Freehold Mitsubishi that the 2021 Range Rover Velar I was interested in was moved to their location to help future buyers be cautious. I was told by Freehold Mitsubishi that the 2021 Range Rover Velar I was interested in was moved to their location (Ocean Monmouth Maserati) this morning. I arrived prepared, but ended up waiting over an hour with multiple staff giving me conflicting excuses about not being able to locate the car. I was pushed to consider other options and was finally told the car had been sold — which I suspect was untrue. The phone staff seemed more interested in baiting customers than providing honest information. I also found it concerning that my driver’s license was photocopied immediately upon entry without explanation or my consent. It feels like they use fake or outdated listings on CarGurus to lure in buyers and waste their time. This was by far the most frustrating and unprofessional dealership experience I’ve had. Be careful and verify availability before wasting your time here. More
