Because of their mistake, I ended up having to pay extra fees that should never have been my burden. What’s worse is the complete lack of communication. I tried reaching out multiple times for clarification and support, but I was either ignored or given vague, unhelpful responses. No one took ownership of the issue, and I was left to deal with the consequences on my own. A simple acknowledgment or effort to make things right would have gone a long way, but unfortunately, that never happened. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone who values transparency, professionalism, or basic customer service. More

They confirmed the appointment while we were on the way. When we got there, we were told the car was on the lift and wouldn't be ready today but we could buy it and come back! Really? The red flags were out as soon as we arrived. I thought to myself, they know we are coming, where is the car? I noticed different car of the same model, but it was obviously in bad shape. We went in and were given the news about the car we wanted, and then the bait and switch kicked in. We started around the back of the lot and then ended up in the front to see the beat up model that was listed for $5000 more than the one we came to see. Walking around the lot lot, all of the used cars seemed banged up or in some state of disrepair. We went back in after we got permission to look at the car that was on the lift - the one we came to see. In contrast to the pictures posted on line for that car, the interior and the engine were APART! There was no room to sit in the passenger side of the car and because there were not water lines hooked to the engine, the car could not even be started. It obviously didn't get that way in a short time. Must be strictly for bait. Avoid at all costs. Read the other reviews! More
Drove 3 hours to look at a 2016 Porsche Cayenne listed on carguru for 22,000. Contacted them via email on Saturday night 5/10/25, on Monday 5/12/25 they called and asked if I can come test drive the car. I s carguru for 22,000. Contacted them via email on Saturday night 5/10/25, on Monday 5/12/25 they called and asked if I can come test drive the car. I said yes I can come on Tuesday a little after 12 as it is a 3 hour drive from home to look at the car. The woman Jennifer said she would mark down a time so that the car would be ready for me to test drive and a sales person would be ready to talk to me. i showed up at 12:55 on Tuesday as I had told them and the woman at the desk asked who I was there there to see, to which I said “Jennifer”. “Oh she only schedules the appointments. So they set me up with this Salesman Greg, it’s his second day there and he seems clueless. He says he will go check to see where the car is. It’s starts to rain and he says he can’t find it, and that he’s sending a drive to their other lot to get it. Over an hour goes by (in this time I notice they have this same car listed on this website for $25,600) and I bring this up and ask what the deal is, and I get a “uhhh that must be an error on car guru”. Mind you they have been adjusting the price on the website every few days. Finally the salesman comes and says “the car was out back the whole time I just didn’t see it” and brings me out to the car, buried 3 rows deep, completely dead. I look at him and tell him this “sale” is off to a terrible start. And he explains that he wants to get the car out and get me behind the wheel. I told him that they’ve had the car for over 6 months and I have my price I will pay and let’s just find out if that will work before we waste anymore of my time. The finance guy says they “have to honor” the car guru price but couldn’t go any lower since it’s “actually priced” 3,500 more on their website. Bait and switch. Place seemed like a Circus full of clowns. More
This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I purchased a car on 4.18.2025 from this company online from MN. I specifically asked for pictures of the vehicle and let him know that I wanted to be sure there were not any cosmetic issues prior to making the purchase. The sales manager sent me pictures that showed no cosmetic issues and assured me there were not any. The vehicle that I purchased was a 2020 VW Tiguan SEL, and that is how it was advertised on their website, as well as other sites they share their information with. After having to resign the paperwork 3 or 4 times due to errors on the sales managers end and also trying to sneak on GAP insurance, the car wasn’t shipped until 4.25.25. I received the car on 4.27.25 at 9:30 at night and as the person delivering it was documenting the delivery, I noticed scratches all over the hood. I waiting until the next morning when it was light out to look at the car to validate what I was seeing the night before, and noticed there were several cosmetic defects. Scratches all over the car, rust spots, passenger front door was bent, moonroof was rusty and damaged. Then I noticed that the trim level was not what was advertised, which that alone impacts the pricing of a vehicle, not to mention all of the other issues. Once I got in the car to drive it, the check engine light was on and there were 0 miles left in the gas tank. The tires were bald and the brakes were grinding. Needless to say, I was very unhappy because this is a complete misrepresentation of their vehicle and is not what I spent 18k on, so I reached out to the sales manager to let him now I needed the car to be returned. There were fees associated with the purchase and he refused to give me a breakdown of the pricing. He tried to argue with me about the trim level not being his fault and that it was the car that I saw online. After some back and forth, he agreed to take the car back and said he would have someone on their way to get it, would cancel/payoff the loan and would give me my 5k down payment back. This sales manager is one of the most unresponsive people I have ever had to deal with. This is now a week and a half after the car was delivered, the car was picked up on the 2nd and when I tried to start it, the battery was dead (another issue), the loan still not is not paid off and I have spoken with the bank twice about it and they have no record of the sales manager contacting them for the payoff information, and I do not have my money back. I need this loan paid off so I can purchase a vehicle, as well as my money back, but Chris Khan refuses to give me proof of my refund and proof that the payment was sent to the bank. This company sold me a car under fraudulent pretenses and misrepresented the state of the vehicle. Every time I call I end up talking to the same woman who refuses to let me work with anyone else. This guy should not have a job in sales and this company should have to compensate me for the issues this has caused. I now have to rent a car until they decide when they want to take care of the loan and my money and that is not an ok way to do business. In fact, it is illegal. More
I am revising my 5-star review after a frustrating experience with Maserati of Monmouth. To provide context, my significant other is a mechanic, and I have worked in long-haul transportation for over a decade. On March 13th, I contacted Stephanie at Maserati of Monmouth about a used vehicle and arranged to pick it up at 9 AM on March 14th. I live 2 hours away and wanted a quick process. However, when I arrived, I was informed the car was at their other dealership, Freehold Mitsubishi, due to poor communication between their team. After waiting over 3 hours, we were driven to Freehold to test drive the car, during which the check engine light came on. We diagnosed the issue ourselves in their service bay, and they assured us the car would be repaired and delivered promptly. Isaiah was our sales person. He's also the owner's son. Despite being told the repairs would be expedited, by March 18th, I learned they hadn’t even ordered the necessary parts until that day—three full days after identifying the issue. After more delays and poor communication, the car was finally ready for pickup, but we arrived to find the tire light still on and the gas tank only half full—unacceptable for a purchased vehicle. We left after 8 PM, exhausted, after spending several days on this. This experience has been a huge waste of time, energy, and money. I will not recommend Maserati of Monmouth to anyone and will advise others to avoid this dealership due to their unprofessionalism and broken promises. More

They seemed forthcoming with the video walk around, seeming to alleviate my concerns. Upon delivery it was immediately obvious the video, and staff, had failed to disclose large tears in the upholstery and pillar liner that I had specifically asked about. Among the other defects: three of the four AMG wheels were cracked making it necessary to replace tires and all the wheels. The outer axle boot was torn requiring the front axle be replaced. Not counting the cosmetic defects in the upholstery/liner, expenses have exceeded $7,000 to bring the car to the condition represented by this dealership at the time of sale. I did purchase a warranty that should be covering at least some of these expenses but the dealership has never responded with my purchased warranty info, and has gone quiet on all attempts to follow up and reach resolution. My interactions with the dealership during the purchase process seemed positive. I still love the model car I bought. But the car I received is not as they depicted it to be. More
