I first dealt with Ed Cappola when I purchased my Tiguan in 2019. When I was looking for a new vehicle last month (Feb 2025), I knew that Ed was the one I wanted to work with again. Derek Welch was my Client Advisor (new name for Sales Person) was very courteous, thorough and kept me informed throughout the sales process. I'm a rather inexperienced buyer of cars. I had no idea that might take more than a day to get the car I was interested in. Yet, they made it happen for me. I think there was some good luck at work but the service from Derek Welch was outstanding. Everyone in the Sales Department were helpful and cordial. After some work to clarify and remove an unexpected addition to my sales contract, I am happy with my purchase. Do be prepared to have the finance person go over each expense on your sales contract to be assured that you have both a clear understanding and no unexpected additions. That is their obligation and you are entitled to be informed and confident in your financial commitment. More
this is by far the worst dealership i’ve had to deal with. i unfortunately purchased a vehicle from them after being in a major accident on january 22. the vehicle ended up not passing inspection and ha with. i unfortunately purchased a vehicle from them after being in a major accident on january 22. the vehicle ended up not passing inspection and had a recall on it resulting in needing my driver side door being replaced. the recall was due to the latch not closing shut which is a clearly a major safety issue. why would a dealership sell a car that wasn’t 100% safe?? after having my vehicle at the dealership for over 10 days i was forced to return the loaner vehicle i was driving due to pressing them about the issue of the car being unsafe. the disrespect i have received since purchasing this vehicle and needing said work done has been insane. the lack of communication to inform me of what is going on with my vehicle is never ending. i am now driving a car that is half worked on and not fully safe but yet giving them my money. i would not recommend this dealership to anyone that has any thought of being a well valued customer because that is the last thing i have felt for the past month of owning a car purchased from mastria volkswagen. More
