Ridgeline tailgate not functioning properly I was unable to access the "trunk" storage compartment under the truck bed because the tailgate would not open as a door. Consequently, I couldn't ge I was unable to access the "trunk" storage compartment under the truck bed because the tailgate would not open as a door. Consequently, I couldn't get to my spare tire or anything else in this storage area. I was told that I'd have to leave the truck for most of the day. The service personnel disassembled the tailgate/door, found that the rods had bent due to an after market truck bed cover I had had installed. The repair was made, the cost was very reasonable, and the tailgate/door now works as it should. More
