Bad Experience We purchased both of our vehicles from Matthews-Currie and have always had them serviced at the dealership, in Nokomis. Recently we were stunned We purchased both of our vehicles from Matthews-Currie and have always had them serviced at the dealership, in Nokomis. Recently we were stunned when we were charged $53.00 for a oil change in our 2012 Escape. That is almost twice what we have paid you many times, in the past, for the same service. The week before that we had our 2006 Escape in and received a quote of over $600.00 for a repair. We got a second estimate at another dealer of $250.00 What's happened to the great customer service we have always received there? More

The very 1st time we did they wanted to charge us for doing the service to the car and we said then refund protection plan and we will pay for it, came back and said no we were good to go with no problems. No problem the next couple of times and now the last time we were told no more that we would have to pay for that service. We just hate being told 1 thing upfront to sell us the plan and then they take it back away from you. A couple of other things have also happened in the last couple of years and right now we would probably not recommend Service or dealership to anyone. We have purchased 2 cars and there probably won't be a third More

I know the dealer was very busy, as the car went in during 'season'. My service contact was Kevin Chaney, who was outstanding. I had recently purchased an extended warranty from Matthew-Curie, and Kevin had to jump through hoops with the insurance provider to make sure my repairs were covered. He called my frequently to let me know the progress being made. I did get quite aggravated a couple of times, but Kevin was patient and thorough in his explanations of what was happening. He did a terrific job; that is what makes me give a 5 star rating here. More
