First Visit to MAtthews-Currie I recently moved to Venice from Bradenton and had to bring my car in for routine servicing and have my passenger door checked for a rattling sound. I I recently moved to Venice from Bradenton and had to bring my car in for routine servicing and have my passenger door checked for a rattling sound. I did make an appointment and came in at the appropriate time expecting to have to wait especially to have the door checked. Josh was handling my appointment but did say it may take a few hours so I said I'd just bring the car back another time. But then he really wanted to see if he could possibly get it checked that morning, which did not work out for my timeline that day since it would take longer. However something must have been done because the door has stopped rattling. The Service was quick, Josh was courteous and helpful and more personable than most I've dealt with at other dealerships. I will definitely always come back to Matthews-Currie Ford. More

Paid over $200 for special oil change, cabin filter Service Mgr. Russell Gineo was very helpful and corrected this problem listed below. I'll give them another chance because of Russell. I paid over $200 for a "coupon special" oil change, tire rotation, cabin filter and to put in new brake fluid. Don't know how well you did with the other stuff, but you screwed up the cabin filter installation. Your tech failed to line up and position the plastic shroud that was removed to put in the new cabin filter. How could he mess this up I wondered? I popped the hood and saw that he failed to replace the the plastic button/screw that holds the shroud in place. Now I have listen to the plastic flap at speed and worry about too much water/debris getting into the channel underneath that can over flow and go past the filter into the car's interior. I'll expect a call/email from you on this. When I have time I'll call you ahead and expect you to take my car immediately to fix this while I wait. More
