We discovered we had a bad tire and drove it directly to Matthews Currie Ford, Nokomis, thinking our day was going to be ruined dealing with auto and tire issues. We had no appointment. Russell, the service agent was friendly, polite and professional. He immediately assessed the flat due to a roofing screw. He accommodated us by arranging a shuttle to a local restaurant while they worked on our tire. Crystal couldn't have been more helpful and made sure we had her number so she could come back for us when the tire was ready. Before the hour was up and without any knowledge they BOTH appeared at our table (at the restaurant) and presented the car keys as the tire was fixed and the car waiting for us outside in the parking lot! Wow what service and no charge??? The best service we have ever received anywhere, in any state! Definitely will check their inventory when we're ready for a trade in. They won us over and highly recommend their service department. More
Had an appointment to take my explorer in for service at 10:30. When I arrived the advisor named Kasey said I was 4 hours early and my appt. was for 2:30. I told her it was for 10:30 and she started arguing 10:30. When I arrived the advisor named Kasey said I was 4 hours early and my appt. was for 2:30. I told her it was for 10:30 and she started arguing with me. It wasn't until another advisor told her he made a mistake and confused me with another customer. I told her she should check things herself instead of listening to other people. At this she said we're done I don't even like you, just move on and we'll get you vehicle serviced. I didn't say anything to the service mgr, but a third advisor who was in on his own time told the manager what happened. I spoke with the manager the first of the following week and he said he was going to talk with her as he had several complaints and bad surverys about her and he would get it straightened out. As far as I know nothing has happened and she still works there. I will not be back as it is clear the employees run the service department and not the manager. More
Service department is trash. Sales are great until after the deal is done. Then they don’t want to know you. I have been buying vehicles from Randy Getchy for more than 20 years. I will never go anywhere else, he is not a car salesman to me. He is my good friend that I trust without question. Every time I need a certain car or truck, for business or personal, he will spend weeks finding me the best fit... Not only does he make sure I have everything I need he always makes sure I get a good price without gouging me. I lost 7 vehicles in the hurricane a couple weeks ago and the insurance paid me almost all money back for all the vehicles ( I lost no money). Some of those vehicles I have had for a couple years and still there value was held from the time we bought them to now. Brought my truck to get tires rotated. Specifically asked for my after market wheels not to be scratched. Picked up my truck and scratched my wheels then denies it. After market wheels brand new and scratched and nothing they can do but deny that they did it. Would not recommend this place unless you have it fully inspected before and after. Will damage your car and then refuse future service when you question the work and suggest they caused the damage backed with logical evidence. You took a part out of the car and put it back in, now it has you question the work and suggest they caused the damage backed with logical evidence. You took a part out of the car and put it back in, now it has a broken piece of plastic on it, and I pay to fix it - not their fault or problem. The shop manager will also refuse to honor "deals" like free tire rotations with purchase of tires - says "they are a courtesy we provide" as he refuses to do it. Positive - Service reps are fantastic. More
